This is a great place. I have gone here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Nice atmosphere. If you want a quieter spot they try to accommodate you. Servers are also great.

I came here for a business lunch that somehow managed to stretch out to 1.5 hours. Our server got our drink orders pretty quickly and those came fast. Our food order, however, took more than 30 minutes to hit our tables. The food itself was your usual pub grub and was fine.

Not too rowdy but not my usually scene still. Freaking hilarious server, she kept us laughing and comfortable all night. Excellent drinks I had a vanilla (white) Russian and fool was tasty for sure. My gluten free friend found a very tasty salad at a good price too! Will be returning.

Waited forever to make a food order as our server mistakenly thought we had ordered food already. Server was unattentive despite being Canada Day her section didn't seem that busy as all the other tables were getting decent service.

Not too many bars have been around since 1979. Especially themed basement pubs. It's down a fairly steep flight of stairs and there's no chance of any daylight ever entering the place. So if the decor is a little tired it really doesn't stand out that much.

What what does standout is very nice servers and good beer. It also doesn't try to be something it's not there's no live music there's no scantily dressed women lose no imposing bouncers just nice people serving good beer with a Irish theme
