“Great zoo”
Reviewed 24 July 2014 via mobile

I went to the Calgary in solo. The zoo was good, the site very large. Most of the popular animals are in the zoo. On the day of my visit, most of the animals were hiding and seeking some shade due to the heat on that day.

Overall it was good, and would be good for families with young children.

Wow, what a wonderful place. Only a 10 min tram ride from downtown. The habitats are for the most part a good size with attention the particular animals natural environment. I feel the price was acceptable. They have food & washrooms. All in all a great way to spend the day

we were two adults and we had a great day. The animals seem to be well treated in large habitats. The hippo was AMAZING!

“One of the best in the world!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

This is one of the best zoo I have ever visit.

There are different animals grouped by different categories in different areas. "Canadian wild animals" is the zone that you should never missed as you may not be seeing these animals in zoo elsewhere. Also other areas with animals from Asia, Africa Safari, or the Polar areas.

They have kids area. They also setup a nice park for Dinosaurs (of course not moving). Kids and adults at all age are all having fun.

“Great Zoo”

I have not been to the Calgary Zoo in 25 years and was very impressed by the amount of diversity and attractions they have. The only fault we had was that the signs still indicate they have elephants which we later found out they do not we spent half an hour trying to figure out where they were.
