Not a review as such though it looks impressive from the outside. Sadly that’s all you’ll see as it’s closed for maintenance on the lifts . Important work for sure, so check before you visit.

Well, the Calgary Tower was the world's tallest olympic torch (1988). The entrance fee is quite pricy, $ 18,90 CAD(+tax) but you will see the whole Calgary especially when the sky is clear. You can walk around up there and stand on glass plate at some corners if you have no fear of heights.
Went with office friends everyone existed was so good you can see all Calgary from here
Nice restaurant good food clean place
The entire tower is very nicely decorated. The trip up to the top is very quick and the screen of the view keeps you busy on your trip up. At the top the movie theater is a great past time with a quick 20 minute history type video that’s very interesting on how it was built. The glass floor is breathtaking the drop gives you an adventurous feel without being to extreme with is perfect for younger children.
We had advance tickets for August 8, 2019 but the tower was closed and had been for a week due to "elevator issues." No idea when it would reopen so check before putting this into your plans.
Just so you don't make the same tirp down there please note that the tower is now closed. It looks cool, but you can't go in until and undetermined date. The good news is if you go there you can do the Stephen's Avenue walk and the excellent Glenbow Museum.
