This B&B is right next to downtown, yet sports a rustic country vibe. It's location next to the river means you can relax in the cosy shared living room or on the terras while enjoying a stunning view over the water (a branch of Bow River) with the downtown Calgary skyline behind it. You can do most of your downtown sightseeing on foot. It's only a short walk for instance to the Saddle Dome or Calgary Tower. We recommend having dinner in the Calgary Tower by the way. Amazing view of Calgary and surroundings, with the mighty Rockies on the horizon. Breathtaking.

Communication with owners James & Arlene was nothing short of superb. We had missed a connecting flight into Calgary (thanks again British Airways - grrr!), so came a day later than we had arranged. James & Arlene were very understanding and never made any problem of it. Instead they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and even upgraded us to a nicer room for the remaining night. What a nice gesture! Next time we return to Calgary you can be sure we'll try to stay at Riverpath again!

We were very excited to find your place so conveniently located within walking distance to everything downtown as well overlooking the beautiful Elbow River. Loved the pathway system beside house for jogging purposes. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We felt at home. Your B&B is beautiful, central, and amazingly affordable. If we are back in town we will be sure to stay with you again ! ! Sincerely Lucas and Jen.

We stayed in the family room of B&B for three weeks during the Stampede, this year. The B&B is situated in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It is on walking distance to Stampede Park and Downtown. From the patio there is an amazing view of Saddledome and Downtown. I and my family enjoyed our staying in this place very much. It is a cozy and comfortable place for good price. It is clean and furnished with all amenities which you need. Arlene and James are very nice and friendly hosts. I would love to stay in this nice place during our next visit to Calgary.

Have enjoyed staying here several times over the past few years and will definitely stay again.
Nice hosts, comfortable rooms, affordable, downtown, excellent view, beside the river, great value. We met a retired couple from the U.K. who felt this to be "one of the most enjoyable B&B's they have ever stayed at" . Thanks again !!

we had booked the southwest room on the top floor, but on arrival a note told us that we had been allocated the family room in the basement. The owner was not around. The family bedroom was tiny, with no natural light. The kitchen/sitting area appeared dingy.Disappointed we decided this was not for us and left.
