I had another opportunity to stay here again for business. Booked more than 30 days in advance and since there was vacancy, I was booked into the top floor of this 4 storey hotel. This floor is where the rooms are better, starting with requiring your key card swiped in the elevator to access it. Then the room is good size with a king size bed, armchair, ottoman and a sofa bed too. An height adjustable armless office chair and darker maple desk, two side tables by the bed and 4 drawer bench under the TV to store your clothes. A large air conditioning unit mounted almost at ground level where it can provide ventilation, air conditioning, and heat. One window in the room with a view of the city, and it can be opened although its small. Microwave, bar fridge, disposable paper cups with lids to take your hot beverage to go made with the in-room coffee maker (stocked with tea, coffee and condiments), and ice bucket. It is single serving size which is a plus. There are glasses and coffee mugs as well. One complimentary granola bar & bottle of water everyday restocked if you consume it. Nice touch. Bathroom stocked with enough face, hand, and bath towels. Toiletries include bar soaps, mouthwash, Vanity kit (three cotton swabs, three cotton balls and one emery board), shoe mitt, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. A box of Kleenex and two toilet roll dispensers too. Hair dryer, ironing board and steam iron. Bathroom has granite countertop that is quite spacious. There is also a large mirror outside the bathroom too. The lighting fixtures are also upgraded when you stay on the forth floor. Brushed brass and contemporary styling. There are two lamps mounted on the wall by the bed which even features a single power outlet which is convenient for charging electronics. The desk lamp has a data port on it for connecting your laptop to the complimentary internet and also another power outlet. On the wall by the desk is another power outlet. A 32” TV mounted on the wall with full cable offering, although some channels’ audio was not working. The overall colour scheme of the room is more premium looking and darker to reflect that styling. Its not the same as other rooms on lower floors. Friendly, efficient check in and check out. Complimentary continental breakfast available from 6am to 10am everyday in the room opposite the lobby. Free apples in the morning at the front desk, jar of cookies in the evening and complimentary self-serve hot beverage in the lobby too. If you forget anything or are hungry for frozen dinners or snacks, there is a convenience corner for you to purchase what you need. If you do not have your own laptop, it is quite pricey to use the PC workstation in the lobby. Complimentary wireless internet for rooms on floor 1 through 3, while the option of complimentary hard wire internet is available on 4th floor.
There are towels for you to use in the pool area too with a water slide if you like to use it. You will need a key card to get in. Ample free parking both in the front and rear of the hotel, although its full on weekends as this is a popular hotel offering superb value! I would love to stay here again!
