We appreciated the friendliness of the hosts, sharing breakfast with international guests, and modernly efficient yet home-y accommodations. Great location with proximity to neighborhood dining and shopping as well as historic Ft. Calgary and the river parks.

When staying in Calgary we always choose the Inglewood B&B. It's like coming home and a perfect location for starting and ending the holidays. Also our 9 year old daughter would after meanwhile 4 stays at the B&B stay nowhere else. Valinda and Helmut always proved to be perfect hosts. The Inglewood environment has also developed during the last years, so that you find good restaurants and a bakery just around the corner. We are now looking forward to walking the new bridge and river passway which should be finished in 2014. The only fractional minus is the missing ability to have shutters closing the daylight fully out, but as you should start early on your holidays the sunlight coming through the shutters wakes you softly...

Spent three days at this delightful place where the hosts made us feel right at home. Lovely big clean room with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast food was top notch and different each day we stayed. Fresh home made muffins and bread, fruit and eggs were served. The owners took the trouble to introduce their guest to each other and make helpful suggestions for local places to visit if you needed any help. This B&B was recommended by friends who live locally and I have no hesitation in endorsing their choice for us! During a months stay in Canada and Alaska we stayed in many hotels some costing two or three times more but although they often boasted swimming pools and other facilities none where more comfortable than the Inglewood B&B

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while visiting for the Calgary Stampede. Valinda, our hostess was very, friendly, accommodating and helpful. She went out of her way to provide suggestions and recommendations for restaurants, places to go and to see. Helmut, our host, gave us great suggestions about outdoor activities, hikes, hot springs and sights around Banff and Lake Louise.

The Bow River runsbehind the house with a nice city walking path alongside the river. We were able to walk to and from the Stampede fairgrounds, downtown, and through the increasingly upscale and hip Inglewood area along 9th Ave., which has many interesting shops, galleries, restaurants and specialty markets.

The rooms and common areas were spotless and comfortable with a contemporary European restraint. There were liquid soaps for the shower and lavatory, but no other bath amenities. Bring your own toiletries. It seems the hair dryer had been removed from under the lav the day before our departure. The beds were firm as we're the pillows.

Breakfast was served in two settings where we met many interesting guests from around the world. We were the only U.S. citizens at the inn, thankfully. The food was quite good and tended toward the healthy.

My wife and I made a trip to Calgary with our 1,5 year old son in May 2013. We stayed at the Inglewood bed and breakfast for a period of three weeks and had a very good time there. Helmut and Valinda were extremely helpfull and very friendly. It almost felt like we were among friends in stead of staying as guests at a bed and breakfast.

When we visit Calgary again we will certainly try to stay at the inglewood bed and breakfast. The rooms were very spacious and nice. Every room has its own bathroom and the bed and breakfast is very nicely located near the centre of Calgary and within walking distance of the Calgary Zoo. The breakfasts were the nicest I have ever had at a bed and breakfast.
