Find the drinks at six bucks for a high ball (short glass) expensive! The casino itself is nicely done up and the lounge inside has a great band. Staff all friendly. Find the girls who dance on the tables not really needed.

Really enjoy the Casino, rooms are pricey for Calgary but you pay for convenience. Very pleasant though, and especially convenient for concerts. Mohave grill has delicious meals. Concerts seating..get reserved if you can, very cosy know you are there for the band. I go quite often and ways enjoy my outings. Often cry intimate concert experience at a good price, but it's a ballroom not a concert hall. I go regularly. The Pub has great value on food, and delightful service. Lots of entertainment options.

I play at this casino more often than not. I like playing the poker table. maybe the location make it attractive the the people out celebrating on the weekends but there always seems to be someone not playing properly and giving their money away. cant complain when i am walking away with more money than i came in with. however there are also allot of regulars there as well and most likely have figured out the same thing.

I recently took a group of Seniors to the Deerfoot Casino, & have also stayed at their hotel/inn on a previous occasion . The seniors complained that the slots were getting worse on payouts monthly, but they visit every month & waste their pensions anyway. The Excellent rating I gave was for the Brunch 11AM - 2PM, featuring soup, a large variety of sandwiches , fresh fruit, & deserts.
The Brunch is self serve, & there are dozens of 10 seat round tables in the Show Room. The hotel rooms are nice & spacious & clean. Dining in the ballrooms very good for conventions. Excellent food & service.

(Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary): If you plan to attend a concert event at Deerfoot Inn & Casino, (Chrome room), think again, and just know that it totally SUCKS! We're not that fussy, but this place is beyond ridiculous. The stage is super small, sound is bad, room itself is very small and everyone / everything is jammed in there like packed sardines, 2 bars squeezed in at the back and no room for people to line up without causing major crowding in walk-ways and aisles & drinks spilled on you. If you're anywhere but up front, (which seems to be reserved seating only) its very hard to see band also with CONSTANT flow of people walking up & down, back & forth, to the bar, to the casino, etc which disrupts your view also. Very hot & stuffy, crappy service by waitresses? - girls with name tags walking about with drink trays, but more interested in stopping to chat & party with friends in audience-not really sure what their actual purpose is, cheap uncomfortable chairs. On and on. Major disappointment. More like a very low grade party room in someone's basement with live band playing, not an actual concert event atmosphere at all. We will never go to another concert/event there again.
Made complaints known to Managers but got a very lame response back from the assistant of Lana Bridger (Casino General Manager), who obviously couldn't even be bothered to respond personally, getting her assistant to do her dirty work, to give their lame and appeasing generic apology - sorry you didn't like it. Clearly they don't care about the customer enough to even try and redeem themselves or make a better impression - just 'ah shucks, that's too bad'. That's it. What does that say about them.? It seems to prove the point further that low / mediocre customer service / customer experience is viewed and/or valued on a very low priority over there. Not worth the time, money. The bands probably get peanuts to play there.

Also, had tried this hotel for the buffet, wasn't great, tables only seat 4, tried regular breakfast as well, chose something from the menus -wasn't lots of choices on buffet, & we were not overall pleased with the service/waitress who seemed unhappy to be there, cranky, food wasn't great either. Maybe appetite was ruined by the time it came. Another

They boast on some sites as being close to the Calgary airport, but they are in fact about 45 mins away! at the total opposite far south end of the city.

They get a big fat ZERO
