This place is the size of a warehouse

People staff rushing every where

Had the fish tacos = 3 or ok
Clam chowder = 3.5
Service = 3

Trying hard - asking Q but ignoring the answers Q- "how is your entree" A - " too salty" followed by "oh that's nice"
and gone

Rare 5 star rating!
Amazing food and equally as amazing service.

If you're in Calgary for three days and you eat all of your meals at Earls you won't regret it.

Attention to every detail.

Brunch: French toast was the best I've had. Perfect flavor and especially good covered with fresh maple syrup. Good, large portions. Even the coffee was to write home about.

Dinner: Halibut and chips were very good. The halibut could have been 20% less greasy but the flavor was spot on. The 12-year-old had a cheese burger and fries. Fries/chips FREAKING FANTASTIC! Shoestring fries cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy with a light dusting of salt.

Service at brunch and dinner could not have been better. Sam (waiter) is top-notch.

Bathroom was spotless.

This, was the first time I have visited an Earls but it won't be the last. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Our waitress made sure our glasses were always full and she enjoyed a bit of banter. The bar has been set very high so I hope the other Earls are as good as this one.

When we were walking with my gf through 8th Ave in downtown Calgary we were not decided which place will we pick for the dinner yet. So we just entered this place without reservation. They still had available tables in both dining and lounge area on Friday evening (7:30PM). When I looked at the menu, they had variety of cuisines together, which is usually not a good sign for a restaurant, however they had only 3-4 meals from each. So we decided to go for Cajun chicken caesar salad and pizza, both to share. We ordered both cocktails instead of wine.
I was surprised how delicious pizza was served on the table. Everything looked fresh and homemade. Simple 4 ingredient Italian pizza on a thin crust with provolone cheese and fresh cut of basil. Wow! This is something that you won;t get even in pizzeria sometimes.
The Caesar has traditional ingredients, but the dressing was with a shift to the mediterranean taste. I bet I tasted some anchovies or something in it. It was not commercial bought dressing, that's for sure. It was the best caesar salad I had in Canada this year(and I usually order it, to compare the restaurant tastes and quality as you can find it everywhere, but it's not so easy as everybody think).
Cocktails were pretty good, plus is, that they already have big selection on the list, so if you don't know what are you going to pick, it will help you.
Overall menu was seasonal, they had pumpkin pie as a desert which was recommended to us, but we chose a Strawberry rhubarb crumble with ice cream. It was just right dessert for the nice fall evening.
The place was clean, the environment was friendly though little bit noisy as the place was fairly full, but service was perfect, friendly and helpful. They know what they customers expect.
Oh and they serve weekend brunch also!

We called into Earls on a Saturday night and it was lovely and quiet. We had a booth and ordered cocktails. Service was efficient and pleasant. The steak was excellent. Would return.
