The Pint employs bouncers that use UNNECESSARY force. If it is not addressed soon someont will get seriously hurt. I was physically TROWN out of there with NO instigation even thought I was quickly and quietly leaving anyways. This type of behavior is just SADISTIC. Sadistic people sshould not be in a position of authority.

“Great atmosphere!”

We came in by accident and stayed for hours. Servers were friendly, fast and efficient. The food was great and we got our money worth with the large portion sizes - great for sharing! I'll be back next time I am in Edmonton.

“A real Canadian pub with a good emphasis on quality and quantity.”
Reviewed 30 April 2010

Let me tell you in my adult life, I have visited many pubs and lounges of varying degrees. The Pint in Downtown Edmonton might be one of the best establishments I have gone too... Hands down.

The service on a regular basis is very friendly and personal. If you are a regular there, the staff always make the effort to remember your favorites each time. The rate of service is exceptional to acceptable (depending on the hour of day).

The food is very delectable and fresh. Not to mention that the portion sizes are quite big which are perfect for the biggest appetite or to share with your partner/spouse on a night out. The range of food offered on the menu is also impressive as there should be something for everyone on the menu! The selection of alcoholic beverages and beers is also one of the best in the city. The taps are clean and the brew is cold every time.

The atmosphere follows the roots of a traditional pub with the addition of local (and international) sports theme. The walls are clad in some of the most iconic images in sports history, and the decor around it marry it together to generate a nice vintage feel. One thing to also mention is that there are a lot of large LCD TVs distributed within the pub. Making most every seat in the house a good one.

If there is one thing that might turn some people away, it will be it's popularity with the locals. On weekends at night, or during major sporting events, it is not uncommon that this place will be very packed with a line up out side.

This can be offset by making a reservation or by giving yourself some extra time and coming down a bit earlier.

The experience at the Pint is most definitely worth it.
