“A Trying Time But A Great Experience At Campus”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

It was a very stressful week for my family but the staff at Campus Tower Suites in Edmonton took some of the stress away. Exceptionally clean, spacious rooms and a very helpful staff. Minute walk to the U of A Hospital. Many conveniences close by.

I am amazed that this hotel gives hospital rates but still charges $167plus tx and $14 parking a day... Don't do us any favours!
Beds are like jello ,pillows are hard, air conditioning is loud right next to the bed blowing on your feet or back.
Plus- staff was nice, and it had a kitchenette.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion on our hotel. We are glad that you experienced our consistent, exceptional, friendly service that was provided by our staff and that you enjoyed our beautiful, kitchenette suite. We are pleased to be able to offer our guests many special, discounted rates based on their individual needs that can be found on our hotel website. We are also happy that we are able offer a discounted parking rate to hotel guests. I am sorry to read that you did not see value in the discounts that we offered. A good night sleep is essential. Our comfortable, pillow top mattresses may have been too soft for you and our pillows may have been too firm, for your next visit, please let us know, as we have bed boards that would firm up the mattress and different types of pillows to meet your individual need. An alternative to control the temperature in our rooms are to use the individual fan that is provided in each guest room and to open the windows to the refreshing air. We look forward to your return visit where we aim to provide you with everything you need to make you feel as though you are at home.

Room was very clean & spacious (stayed in a one bdrm suite with kitchenette) and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in Edmonton. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, cutlery, etc. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for easy access to the West Ed Mall, the zoo, lots of restaurants nearby, and the general area seemed fairly safe. Not sure how many rooms on our floor were occupied, but in our two night stay, noise was very minimal. My only criticisms would be that housekeeping came into the room even though the do not disturb sign was on the door and parking fee was quite expensive. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Edmonton area and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Dani, thank you for the great review. Our spacious suites are fully stocked for four people and offer a comfortable resting spot in the Garneau neighborhood. The location is indeed excellent for visiting the attractions in the greater Edmonton area as well as many local experiences which enhance your stay.

I am not sure how long you stayed, but we do have a policy that was implemented for the safety of our guests. We will enter the room if there has been no service for a few days just to check everything is ok. We look forward to seeing you on your next stay in the city!

Lots of space, clean. A bit dated but overall pretty good. Very expensive for what you get. Staff very friendly. FYI no free parking. Also note, the building is across from a hospital so lots of traffic and lots of noise. Rooms have box air conditioning and it can get quite stuffy.

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. We pride ourselves on our, spacious suites, friendly staff and excellent location. Being in "The Garneau" neighborhood the hotel is close to the unique experiences of local, trendy coffee shops, great restaurants and walking distances to parks and attractions, as well as being wonderfully convenient for the U of A and Hospital.

I would like to share the fact that we are undergoing upgrades to the outside of the hotel in the coming months including windows and air conditioning units. We hope to get the chance to show your our excellent service on your next visit!

Co + Con + Cl + Cus = Campus Tower Suite Hotel. My highest recommendation posted thus far. Let me break that equation down for you:

Co = Comfortable. The suites are spacious, comfortable and have all the amenities you could possibly hope for. I had a partial kitchenette which was just perfect for my needs, plus a very spacious living room. Free wifi. Really nice touches like bathrobes. Very comfortable bed and linens. I usually have to ask for different pillows to get comfortable - didn't have to do that here. Updated, sleek, modern furnishings (though not so modern that you feel uncomfortable - again, just perfect. Great water pressure. Really loved that you can OPEN THE WINDOWS! Fantastic.

Cl = Clean. Spotlessly clean. I travel a lot for business and pleasure, and I can honestly say that this was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Kudos to the housekeeping staff (who were incredibly helpful, polite and friendly too).

Con = Convenient location. I was there on a University of Alberta and hospital business -- and both are literally across the street. Close to Whyte Avenue (good shopping, bars and restaurants) too. Grocery stores and great restaurants, cafes, very close by. Would highly recommend the Good Earth cafe downstairs. This would be an exceptionally good location if you are visiting the University or one of the hospitals.

Cus = Excellent customer service. I was granted a very early check-in and a late checkout without any hassle at all. Everyone that I came across - no matter what their job role - was exceptionally friendly, customer-oriented, and helpful. I can't say enough about the staff. I saw them having a meeting early one morning - they all seemed very happy, and like a cohesive team. That says a lot in terms of the experience that customers will ultimately have. Kudos to the front desk staff, and the Managers.

I usually stay in 4 to 4 1/2 star hotels including the Fairmont and Westin chains. This hotel rivals those hotels - again, wonderful stay for me.

Room Tip: I was on the 15th floor, and there were a few meeting rooms on that floor. If you would like it to b...

Wow – we are very happy that we could be part of such a wonderful equation.

Comfort is definitely something we can offer our guests, with the majority of our suites being a spacious 525 sq ft, fully equipped with range stove tops, microwave and full place settings which are perfect for preparing meals.

We are happy to advise you that we have once again received the Alberta Hotel Lodging Association Housekeeping Award which indicates how important cleanliness is at our hotel.

Being located in The Garneau neighborhood, the hotel is definitely an excellent home base in an area offering many unique experiences of local, trendy coffee shops, great restaurants and walking distances to parks and attractions.

We are very proud of all of our staff. We are a small team and work hard to make our hotel as clean and comfortable as possible and ensure that each guest has an exceptional stay. Your comments will definitely be passed along!

We are glad you had such a wonderful experience and look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit.

I've stayed at Campus Towers a few times now. It's in an excellent location - near downtown, Whyte Avenue, and the University of Alberta (campus and hospital facilities). The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly. The rooms had a great temperature and the beds comfortable. Each room has a kitchenette and the room I last stayed in had 2 separate bedrooms, a large bathroom, living room, kitchen table, and kitchen. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
