Arrived late after a long drive and we're greeted promptly at the front desk. Check in was a breeze and was in my room in minutes. Spacious room with two comfortable double beds. TV was functional but older flat screen model. Internet was good with very little, if any, lag or delay. The shower needed some updating and the fixtures were a little worn but very functional with great water presure. The large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and Lotion were a welcome change form the normal tiny bottles with hardly enough product. Although at this trip I didn't eat in the resturnat, I did receive two 25% off coupons for the resturant at check-in. I drive a large truck (Dodge Ram 2500 HD) and cannot fit in the parking garage but plenty of parking across the street...for the same price? Odd but cheaper than other hotels in the area. Centrally located in the downtown area within walking distance to shops and service, I think the hotel is a great value for the money and would stay there again without question.

Room Tip: Ask for a 'City View' room. The views to the west and north are lovely

Came and stayed 1 night for an interview at the University Hospital. Location was nice and close to downtown, and a $10 cab ride from the university. Staff were pleasant and accommodating, giving me a late checkout with no extra charge. Rooms were clean, spacious, and beds were soft and comfortable. Wifi was excellent, which is a huge selling point for me, and can't be said about most hotels! Bathrooms were slightly old fashioned, but 100% functional and satisfactory. Shower controls were somewhat difficult to figure out, but good water pressure and temperature. I wanted to mention that they have large bottles of shower gel, shampoo and lotion dispensers, as well as the little typical hotel bottles. I really liked this. Those little bottles are always not quite enough, and are terrible for the environment, so I appreciated having these large dispensers. Great job. Did not try the restaurant. Overall value was decent, and would seriously consider staying here again.

title says it all.
Dirty, run down rooms. Furniture from the 80s, if that. Internet barely working. Restaurant food was limp, like it was left over from the weekend. Unfriendly front desk...several could not speak English, including the desk manager. Left messages (plural) for the manager of the hotel but never heard back. Returned my loyalty card at check out...never again.

Booked this hotel through hot-wire, for a weekend away. Parking is $18 per day, which is less than hotels in downtown Edmonton. Had the buffet for breakfast, 15,95 plus tax, once again, less than other downtown hotels. Good selection including eggs bennie. I like higher floors, good view towards the west. Decent sized room with a single queen bed, very conformable, excellent roomcleanliness. As stated in another review, the furniture is old with nicks and scratches, didn't stay for topnotch furniture. The two armchairs were quite worn, should be replaced. Decent internet, no problem connecting. Lots of hot water. Good service for breakfast. At check in received 2 coupons for 25% off dinner

Stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Rooms were clean and bed was good. Desk was a little small to get any serious work done. The room had 2 beds, a table and chairs, desk and dresser and it made the room too full of furniture. If they got rid of one of the beds and put a larger desk, this would have been a great business room. Overall I think the value for the money was definitely worth it.
