The room is perfect--a wine cave with water feature, dim lighting and private booths. The music, standards played at a reasonable volume, augment the atmosphere. Ordering by iPad allows the rotating selection of wine to be featured, but the brightness on these iPads is way too high, jarring the romantic ambience with iLight.
The service is unobstursive but attentive. Maitre'd Brian is a particulary delight, and generous with his impressive knowledge of wine.
Cheese boards and snacks are delicious, although I'd love to be able to order a veggie dog from sister restaurant Pub 1905 next door to go with 3 ounces of exquisite amerone.
