After reading the reviews, husband and I were very excited to try Tony's pizza.
We got the antipasto sampler (cant remember the name) and the Tony's Deluxe Pizza (the supposed best-seller). What a disappointment! While the meats and cheeses on the antipasti plate were good and fresh, the pizza was nothing like real italian pizza. I have been to Italy several times, as well as NYC, and I know what real italian pizza tastes like. The dough was nowhere near that awesome taste of bread, it was dry and there wasn't enough cheese, and the pizza istelf was way overcooked. The staff is super friendly and the place feels very authentic, but we left very, very disappointed after so many great promises.

Our gang is on a quest for NYC style pizza in Edmonton. Tried Tony's tonight. Was quite impressed. Loved the pizza dough tossing by kitchen staff. Very friendly, great service. Don't be fooled by the neighborhood. We will be bakc!

Best New York style Pizza around. Thin crust and baked to perfection. If going there order the New Yorker Original. It only comes in Extra large, but you will not be disappointed. Very friendly staff.

My husband and I moved here a year ago from London Ontario and it took us this long to find a decent pizza!!! The soup, bruschetta, pizza and homeade pasta's here are amazing!!! This place is typical old school Italian restaurant and so is the food!!! Anyone looking for a pizza place where the food is as good as they say it is this is THE one!!!

Everytime i dine at this restaraunt, its better than the last time,if that's possible!
The bonconcinni and tomato salad is amazing. The veal parmagianna is so good. the carbonnara and the spaghetti are great too.
But my favourite is the pizza. You can watch the throwing of the dough, and the making of the pizza. When you bite into it.. all these wonderful flavours attack your senses.Any of the pizzas are so good. The red house wine is a great accompaniement.
