It rarely gets much better than this. Once you have read through the varied, unique, and most interesting menu (do so online before arriving because you will have difficulty choosing on the spot!), prepare for a gourmet dinner (and excellent wine) served by professional and personable staff. We chose the caprese to start, followed by two main courses (haddock and the goat cheese in filo with tomato chutney). Our server (June 19/2014) was professional, informed, and welcoming. We highly recommend this restaurant - it was only made better by the fact that we had to look for it! It is a bit out of the way (but near the Strathcona area), but it was a treasure worth seeking!
(NB - Leave yourself time to drop in at Bibo, their affiliate bar, two doors down. While it is the self-named "smallest wine bar in Canada"(10 seats), the knowledgeable and welcoming sommelière offers an extensive variety of wines from all over the world. We savoured 2 marvellous Tuscan reds. Buon appetito !
