I have stayed in edmonton lots, and this was our first time at this hotel and I was very happy! VERY CLEAN! Pool was great for kids and also very clean. Room was updated and modern , very clean. Breakfast was great, staff was very accommodating and quick to clean tables at breakfast (busy spot) There was even a little boy who threw up and staff showed mom to the bathroom and cleaned up the rug. I will defiantely be staying here again.

Great place, prepaid through Expedia for a suite, it was very roomy, clean, well equipped could not ask for more. The staff from the front end, cleaning staff to maintenance were all very nice, and helpful. The breakfast was well done, the only draw back was no restaurant but they offered discount to the one next for in the Marriott.

Stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites West Edmonton in the middle of November, during a workshop. The hotel was fantastic. The room and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Highly recommended.

I've come to Edmonton many times. Let's face it, if you're flying internationally, you are most likely arriving late in the evening, and leaving at the very early morning hours. You want to stay near the airport.

I've been to many other hotels here. Most are a little tired looking, and their staff was too (from a "Happy to See You" standpoint). Not here. It's new and very quiet (for being so close to the airport). Taxi's are very timely and the hotel will make any arrangements for you.

The service was top notch. It was important to them your stay was great!

This will be THE PLACE for me to stay when I come again!

We are a family of 5 that come to Edmonton once or twice a year. We like this hotel because all 5 of us can stay in one room very comfortably due to the size of the suites.

Rate are okay, but the hot breakfast included each day help offset some of the costs.

Very close to WEM and other major roads that can get you to other parts of the city relatively fast.

Nice pool, nice gym, very friendly staff.

We had a few maintenance issues on our last visit; broken lamp in our room, not all the TV channels worked.

We arrived early & the friendly staff were happy to help & store our luggage.
Our room was great, lots of room! Facilities were great, the buffet breakfast included was typical for this hotel chain & did the trick!
We were able to walk to the shopping centre in about 40min, it's completely flat & easy walk but people thought we were crazy! Definitely recommend a car if you don't won't to walk, public transport was difficult. Plenty of take away options nearby.

You know, it wasn't that the room wasn't beautiful, it was! (We had a 1 King with a pull out sofa) The room was very spacious, with beautiful furnishings. At first glance, I was very impressed. It included 2 big windows, a separate 'kitchen area' (more like a wet bar), a desk area, a sofa w/coffee table and 2 side tables, and a big vanity area which was outside the toilet room. Apparently this room could be a conjoining room... which we found out when the kids on the other side of the room opened their door early in the morning and was banging on ours. We loved the space because after keeping the kids so close at West Edmonton Mall the Saturday before Christmas, they needed room to play.

We went down to the pool area for a little relaxation. It was so nice to have a toddler pool, so the kids could play, and the waterfall thingy was nice, but the pool was COLD!!!! Too cold for the kids to really enjoy. I really wish hotels paid more attention to this. Also, just a side note, the pool deck was SUPER slippery. Wet-tile slippery. (not a good choice for a pool deck) Children or the elderly would have trouble keeping their feet under them. The pool also had a big black ring around it... obviously from not being cleaned. And the hot tub had so much chlorine in it, we smelled it on ourselves after several showers.

Getting ready for bed changed everything. We noticed the bathroom wasn't in the greatest shape. Nothing you call down about, but there was no attention to detail. Hair in the tub, floor kind of dirty and dirt in the corners. (side note - no bathroom fan?) Then we went to pull out the sofa bed... DIRTY! Not made... maybe for several stays? Gross. So, we called down and let them know. Within a few minutes, the house manager (I think thats what they called him) came up to change it. That was nice as it was getting hard to keep our overtired kids from climbing on it. YUCK. Anyways... then we all attempted to sleep. The kids did not too bad, but the husband and I didn't feel comfortable. Not sure if it was the bed or the horrible pillows or what.

Apon waking up, realized they had slipped the bill under the door. It was the wrong price. And apparently even the wrong reservation? We had been checked into someone else's room. When we went down for breakfast (which wasn't great, but fairly normal for a continental breakfast), I brought up the mistake to the front desk agent, who apologized, and promptly changed it. No questions asked. Again, another point for the customer service.

Overall? Kinda disappointed. Not sure I'd stay again. Didn't really feel like the extra money was worth it.
