“Wrong Address”
Reviewed 2 October 2013 via mobile

The location on Trip Advisor puts this place on the banks of the river! It should be:

3376 Gateway Blvd NW
Edmonton‎ Alberta‎ T6J 7A2
Canada

Having corrected that...
I just a craving for a hamburger other than the usual fast food places. I've seen this place a few times on my way into town. Easy access, lots of parking, interesting decor, licensed (beer). The burger was good but not great. The onion rings were flavorless. BUT...they make REAL milkshakes. I didn't have one but a family in the next booth ordered SW and they look great. Next time.
Like the sign on the wall says, the burger is freshly broiled, not fried and not sitting in a warming tray waiting for the next customer, so it takes a little longer than one of those other places.

“Wow! They like us vegetarians too!”
Reviewed 22 August 2013

When I first saw this place opening up, I thought, I'm never going there. Based on the name I figured it was not a place for a vegetarian. I couldn't have been more wrong. The veggie burgers here are SERIOUSLY THE BEST of any place anywhere without a doubt! Sweet potato fries are spectacular and the dip as well. Milkshakes are crazy delicious. Mini doughnuts are a must try. they are fresly made each order and in my opinion far better than any you'll find anywhere. One last comment, leave them a tip in the tip jar...

“Good burgers, a bit pricey”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

Had lunch here recently with 2 teens. A couple of burgers and a philly cheesesteak with 3 drinks came in at $44 so certainly not your typical fast food burger joint prices. Thankfully the quality is also not typical of a fast food joint or I'd never be back, but the quality matches the prices. Burgers are big and tasty with fresh buns and fresh toppings. Burgers were not overcooked - nice and juicy. Cheesesteak had plenty of cheese, beef, onions. I had the pepperjack cheese which gave it just the right kick. The loaf was toasted juat enough to hold everything together. Fries were great and the onion rings were even better. This is, from a quality perspective, an upscale burger joint.

Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is clean and has good atmosphere. No complaints here - we'll be back for more.
