My wife and I stayed here with the sun and soak package. Worth every last penny. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Great for families, couples or any size of group. Close to Jasper and the hot springs, and all the amenities you can want, and a couple more.

My daughter and I stayed here with her dog for a night. Our cabin was cozy, but did lack air conditioning. We were also located facing the road in a smaller unit and there was some road noise at night, but not enough to keep us awake. The location is just across the road to some hiking trails and since we got there in daylight, we liked not having to leave to drive somewhere else to do some exploring. The staff was helpful in giving us information on the trail.

The service in the restaurant was very good, but we were a little disappointed in the food.

Room Tip: Definitely bring insect repellent! Mosquitoes were plentiful.

I purposely booked the new Miette cabin because I wanted to make sure we had a new, clean cabin. It didn't disappoint! It was amazing. Two comfy bedrooms upstairs with one bath to share. Downstairs had a nice living area, dinette area and kitchen with a half bath off of the kitchen. The grounds were rustic and beautiful with great views. This resort is an easy 35 minutes from Jasper....the drive is beautiful and it was fine with us to not be directly in town. The mosquitoes were a bit of an issue, but overall we loved this place. I can't comment on the older units, but this new Miette executive cabin was great! Also, the staff was wonderful and very helpful.

It all looked nice when we arrived. New log cabins. It was therefore a shock when we were assigned a cabin in the back. It was merely a shed. Had not been renovated since it was built in the seventies and it smelled of smoke. The standard price for this shed is CND 193, which is completely off the wall (this coming from a Norwegian that is used to high prices).

We chose to upgrade and for CND 66 we got a better cabin, but still not worth CND 260. Moreover, the cleanliness was poor.

We are aware that in Jasper one can charge any price, but this was a bit too much, even if the location is nice and they have a swimming pool.

This complex is some half an hour drive from Jasper town, next to the highway, which can be heard from the rooms. Traffic is lower at night, but still, it should be known. In the complex there are cabins, and some two story buildings with rooms. We were in one older buiding, comprising 4 rooms. The bathroom was very clean and new, the room all wood, nice, with a small kitchenette. On the ground there is a heated pool and jaccuzzi. We got a anti-mosquito lamp for the night. Breakfast has two choices: the cold one is 10CAD, and the hot one is 14 CAD, not including taxes. We also had to have dinner there, because there was no other place in the area, and especially the first night it took very long before we got our orders. As almost everywhere in Canada the vegetarian options were very limited. People in the group liked their meal, most ordered meat.
They have free internet for guests, and a nice shop which includes basic needs for travelers, souvenirs and drinks.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away for the traffic noise.

Spending the night at Pocahontas Cabins just inside the Jasper National Park is an adventure. These are not high class accommodations if that's what your expecting so be warned. These are well laid out cabins in an environment that allows you to relax, enjoy nature and the fresh air and not be in town. For $260.00, we got a cabin with a separate room and a pull out couch in the living area - ok for 4 people. There is only one tv and there isn't satellite so if this is your thing, maybe look elsewhere. Also, no reliable wifi or any telephones in the rooms so again, be warned. It does have a great pool and a decent hot tub so you can enjoy that. There is LOTS of walking trails close by and its just down the road from Miette Hot Springs. You can't go wrong. Another thing... bring snacks with you. They have a small store on site that is not well stocked and is quite pricy. If this is what your looking for, enjoy. We did!

We arrived here in the late afternoon, for 2 nights. We booked a Deluxe log cabin refurbished (with a queen and a sofa bed). It is quite a cute cabin, maybe a bit small for four adults, since the sofa is the bed in the living room. With the bed out, there is no space left to sit or dine in the living room. The porch outside is a lovely space, were you could read a book in all silence (the sound of highway 16 is very present).
Staff is very friendly, we had dinner there (Poco’s cabin) as well, that was good quality for what you paid.
The second night we used the BBQ facilities that are in the middle of all the cabins. This gives you a pleasant feeling of being in the nature. Be aware if you go there that there will be a lot of mosquitos (buy the mosquitos Off spray).
The other facilities are great, reasonable size of swimming pool, and a new hot tub.
If you book a room, make sure you book one as far away from the highway as possible and take in consideration that the cabins are half an hour away from Jasper downtown.
