Didn't expect so much at all from this motel. We didn't want to drive the whole way from jasper to banff in one day so we booked one night here. The staff is helpfull and very nice. The wifi is actually good to be out in the nowhere. The food at the restaurant is for real like the best dinner we ate in Canada. You maybe not Think that in first sight but give it a shot.
The room is absolutely okay and soft beds and of course quiet.
Would recommend it.

Approximately halfway between Lake Louise and Jasper. Nice cabin-like rooms (seperated from the main building). Nice and friendly staff. Very good restaurant and deli. Large gift shop with items we didn't see anywhere else.
Be sure to have mosquito repellent (available in gift shop) when you want to sit outside in the evening.
Sunwapta Falls itselves are impressive.

I truly loved my stay here - the staff was fantastic: friendly, helpful and efficient. We stayed in a Rocky Mountain Double and really liked the room and setting. We enjoyed our food at dinner - the service was very good and the ambience intimate. Its definitely a bonus to have the Sunwapta Falls just a short stroll away.
Just be aware that Jasper town is over 50km further on - and if you are OK (or even like) that - you will probably enjoy both the Lodge and the location.

Staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was very cozy. It was great to be out of the town and to be in such a quiet setting. A 10 minute walk took us to the falls and just 20 minutes put us up the mountain where the view was spectacular.! Breakfast was generous and very well prepared.

If you don't want to be where all the tourists are in Jasper then this is the place for you!
Lot's of young people working at this lodge and they are from all over , so it gives
the place an international feel. The girls at the front desk are so friendly !
We met one of the workers out hiking on his day off and it was like greeting a friend.
Even though it wasn't cold we had them light us a fire in our room just for the ambience.
Very cosy! The use of the internet without extra cost was an added bonus.
Ask for a room with a porch as ours didn't have one and that would have been nice.
The best part of this place is you can walk to the Sunwapta falls ! somewhat of a drive to Jasper but you might see some wildlife on your way!

Room Tip: ask for cabin with a deck.

Pickings are slim along the Icefields parkway. This place while not luxurious is quite adequate. It kind of reminds me of the hotels we stayed in on vacation in the 1960s complete with the large souvenir shop and the totem pole outside.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The two meals we had in the restaurant were very good and they have a good selection of beers.
Our room was clean with two double beds.
Wifi is free but is a little slow.
Sunwapta falls is a short walk away and well worth seeing.

Neat cabins, great customer service, nice, quiet, and relaxing break after a busy day at the ice fields. Had supper at the restaurant and it was great! Breakfast the next day was also good. The falls are walking distance and worth a view. It was the perfect distance to drive from Banff, drive the parkway with stops, and do both glacier skywalk and glacier experience.
