“What a view!”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wyndswept. Incredible view from the Pocohontas room. Glad we had some time to read and enjoy the view from there. Great hospitality from Glenda and Bob, and such a delicious (Celiac-friendly!) breakfast.

Wyndswept is definitely one of the best B&Bs we ever stayed at. Very warm welcome from Glenda and Bob, amazing views over the valley and the mountains from the outdoor deck with red sunsets, yummy breakfasts make it a perfect place to stay. We also very much enjoyed the concentrations with Bob about the local wildlife and are very much grateful for his itinerary recommendations. Thank you Glenda and Bob for the great stay!

My wife and I stayed at Wyndswept Bed and Breakfast for three nights in early July in Pocahontas Panorama room. It was our 32nd anniversary of our Canadian Rockies honeymoon trip. The room was well appointed, and it was indeed a panorama room from where We were able to see a number of snowy moutains. We really enjoyed serene hours with a cup of wine glass, watching the sunset from our veranda. Although this B&B is a bit far way from downtown Jasper (35 minute drive), the drive gave us a chance to encounter a black bear and a couple of elks. We highly recommend this establishment.

My wife and I were fortunate to stay at the Windswept between 20th and 25th June this year. A visit originally planned for two nights but extended to 5 nights at the last minute, due to the devastating flooding in Canmore and thanks to the kindness and generosity of Bob and Glenda who accommodated us at a minutes notice.

Bobs breakfasts were first class and the guest suites were exceptionally clean and well equipped. The views from the lounge and breakfast areas were outstanding and need to be seen to be believed.

We would recommend the Wyndswept B&B to anyone visiting the Jasper area. Located just outside the National Park it is an easy drive to all the local attractions and with Bob and Glenda’s knowledge some of the lesser known attractions are well worth a visit also. Excellent.

We spent 3 nights in the Pocahontas room –Wow! what a view and what a room -spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, ultra modern TV, Jacuzzi and just so much space – just felt like a suite in a top notch hotel but with the personal touches that come from a b&b. Bob and Glenda are very welcoming hosts and they really do pay attention to every detail. They have lived in the area for many years and were able to give us lots of advice on places to see and up to date information on places to look for wildlife.
Breakfast is an event in itself and was simply delicious.
Don't be put off by the fact that Wyndswept is a 30minute drive from Jasper. It is a very scenic drive and wildlife spotting is frequent along the route. All of the area sights are easily accessible from here and there are also a number of good quality restaurants nearby if you don’t fancy the drive. Try the restaurant at Miette Bungalows (adjacent to the Hot Springs) – the food is excellent and the drive up there is amazing – elk, deer, black bear and big horn sheep to name but a few.
This was our second stay at a Canadian B&B (after frequent B&B stays in the UK, USA and Australia) and we certainly made another great choice. Wyndswept is highly recommended.

We stayed in this delightful B and B at the start of our Rocky Mountain travels. What a special spot. We stayed in the Pocahontas room. Definitely a room with a view. Glenda and Bob were wonderful hosts and give us lots of advise on trips out. Don't miss a trip to the hot springs if you stay here. Glenda even supplies the towels! Bob cooks the breakfast and they were delicious. You may think Wyndswept is a little out of the way, but I assure you it is one not to be missed. Its a super place to spot wildlife. We saw lots. Even a moose! Glenda gives a lot of attention to fine detail which all leads to a wonderful stay. The perfect place to stay if you are in the Jasper area. If we didn't live so far away we would definitely be planning to go back. Glenda and Bob definitely deserve 5 stars.

We arrived very late at Wyndswept and were given a warm welcome. Bob's breakfasts were tremendous freshly cooked with choice ingredients. Lots of care and attention to detail even down to the table decorations. We really appreciated his local knowledge of hikes and wildlife.
The accommodation was to a very high standard the Bob and Glenda tried to think of everything to make your stay with them relaxing and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to enjoy some real Canadian hospitality in the Rockies
