“a bit claustrophobic”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

We have a mixed views on this accommodation. My wife was uncomfortable living in what was essentially was someone's basement (which is split into two flats). Advantages were a private entrance, it was clean, there were two lounge chairs, a kitchen area, it was reasonably spatious. The location was within walking distance of town, and included private parking. It is not "serviced" (not that that worries us). However the bed was very firm (squeaked if your partner rolled over), limited natural light (one small window). Kitchen had basic facilities, but with some omissions (eg no microwave proof containers to heat food in). Yes the price was good by Jasper standards, but the bed would have to be replaced before we would consider staying there again. Would recommend for my children, but not for someone 50 plus if staying more than one night. (Hint for Jasper - If you intend to visit Banff after Jasper, do not waste your money on the Jasper tramway)

This is a great place to stay. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Having a private entrance gave us the privacy and freedom that we love!. We had such a restful time here. Close to downtown but on a quiet street. We loved being able to prepare light meals in the kitchenette after eating out so often on our trip. We should have stayed at this lovely spot a few more days. Loved it!!! We will be back!

This place is very well located. The suites are very suitable for a family of four travelling together. Or even for a couple. They are very reasonably priced for the location of the B&B and for the space you get. Grab it if you can.

Both hosts, Cheryl & Tony, are very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful if you have questions. They've done an excellent job of providing you all the relevant and important information on a laminated sheet as soon as you walk into the room. They also provide an abundant amount of up to date brochures of tours, restaurants, and things to do around the park.

The beds are very comfortable and the house is located in a quiet part of town.

I have only one reason for not giving 105 Patricia Place an "excellent" rating. The rooms are located in the basement so expect a lot of noise from above because the floor boards creek like mad - specially when the kids run around. While quiet hours are respected starting 10pm it would be nicer if quiet hours started closer to 8 or 9pm.

Otherwise a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Pictures on their website and on the internet does not do justice to the space of these suites. They...

My husband and I stayed at 105 Patricia Street this summer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Tonquin suite is spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. it has an extremely useful kitchenette and is very spacious - a living/dining area, bedroom and seperate shower room. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, we loved Jasper and 105 Patricia Street, highly recommended!

Room Tip: Both suites are lovely and have the same facilities.

Pictures on the Internet made it look small. But we found it very comfortable and convenient. We recomend it.

This was a nice stay. We stayed in the Overlander room for 2 nights in late June 2010. It is actually a small unit under the home of the hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful with information etc. It felt nice to be in someone’s home rather than yet another motel, but in saying that, I was a bit paranoid about making too much noise or having the TV on late at night. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a stay in Jasper. It’s close to everything in town that you would need, it’s clean and comfortable and it was so very cheap compared to everything else I’d researched. $94USD in a town like Jasper is a bargain. Thanks to Tony and Cheryl for having us at your place.
