My wife and I were here as part of our 3 week honeymoon in mid-June, and of all the hotels we stayed in during our time in Canada, this was far and away our favourite. The setting is absolutely perfect, far enough outside of town to be undisturbed, but close enough to walk in and out (20 mins each way); and on the banks of the Athabasca river, where we saw a couple of Elk (one swimming the river!) and a couple of deer in the woodland at the rear of the 'village'. It's also walking distance to the Jasper Skytram, for those who enjoy a hike (4km, uphill mostly). Our cabin (not saying which one - we want it available to book when we go next year!) was very comfortable (armchairs, sofa, breakfast table and bed), everything worked fine (kitchen, bathroom, TV) and the furnishings and furniture were spot on, and complimented the scenery perfectly. The service from the staff was excellent, they were polite and swift to help out when needed. We can't think of one single criticism about the Alpine Village, and could happily sing its praises until we were blue in the face, but suffice to say that neither of us can wait for our next visit to what has become our favourite place on Earth!
