Hotel is basic but clean. Location is not bad a short walk to the town. Has a nice pool and hot tub area that is well maintained.

Overall quite pricey for what you get but that's high season in Jasper

We booked a standard room with 2 beds as I was travelling with my father and son.
There was enough room for the 3 of us and we slept great. The air conditioning was great as we were luck and it was hot and sunny.
There was also a small fridge in the room which is very convenient when travelling with a hungry toddler.
An additional plus: free wifi and parking!
The hair dryer was broke, but maintenance took only 5 minutes to come up and repair it - great job!
The breakfast was standard fair, but you cannot beat the price ($15 for full breakfast and $10 for continental). And kids under 3 eat free!
Unfortunately we did not have time to visit the pool, but it was great to know it was there in case the weather didn`t cooperate.
All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for two nights prior to boarding the Rocky Mountaineer.
This was a comfortable 3 star hotel, and we had a spacious room.
The level of comfort and service and the standard of food were good, and we slept well.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Chateau Jasper on our trip through the Rockies

It is a nice clean hotel within walking distance of the shops. The hotel was a bit tired but rooms were spacious and comfortable and well equipped although the electrical sockets were in strange places - we had to manoeuvre the table to get the kettle to plug in.

Breakfast was good and reasonable

We found the reception staff not overly friendly - no offer of help was given when we checked in to help deliver luggage to our room and it was only on asking the best way to get to the station (to catch the Rocky Mountaineer) that we were told that the hotel ran a free shuttle.

Overall however a pleasant experience that would not put us off staying her again

The hotel is the usual two story place like all in Banff and Jasper. So do not expect a chateau like Quebec City...

The hotel is operated by the se hotel group as pyramid lake and it shows. Someone tries to so an effort to remove the stuffed feelings from the places. Very nice. Room was renovated and clean and had an awesome view to the mountains... All you can ask for.

It is off the main strip and very quiet. You can still walk to the jasper brewery and the main places for dinner and breakfast.

The place does the job nicely. Unspectacular.
