Owner description: The Jasper SkyTram is the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada. This family trip offers incredible views of six different mountain ranges, the town of Jasper, numerous lakes and the Athabasca River. Gain a new perspective on Jasper National Park, the largest park in the UNESCO Canadian Rockies World Heritage Site. Soar above the park’s sub-alpine vegetation, watching for wildlife down below, as you gently climb towards the upper station located at 7,425 feet (2,263 meters) above sea level. An experienced and knowledgeable guide will accompany you on your trip, sharing a few insights about the area, its history and the wealth of wildlife nearby during your ride. Stroll on the boardwalk and hike the 1.4 km Summit Trail to the top of Whistlers Mountain at 8,081 feet (2,463 meters). Make sure to stop at the Summit Restaurant for a meal at the top of the Canadian Rockies. Visit the gift shops at the upper or lower stations, to purchase a souvenir for friends back home.

After a stay at West Edmonton Mall, we stopped here with our thirtyish kids and three year old grandchild, and took the under 10 minute gentle ride up to the summit. Our son-in-law and granddaughter had never seen real mountains, but even we who have travelled this area many times before were spellbound by the views of the majestic Rockies.
There is a wonderful café where you can enjoy some good food and coffee while gazing over the mountain peaks, forests, rivers and lakes below. I picked up some lovely T-shirts and mementoes in the gift stores while the younger ones walked up the path to the tip of the mountain. Good shoes and a jacket make it easier! And don't forget your camera for pictures that will impress everyone!

Just a short drive out of Jasper and you are there.

Beautiful views up to the top in the sky tram.

We were there in Spring and there was still snow on the ground.

Unbelievable views of the Rocky Mountains.

We had lunch in the cafe and the food was affordable and really good.

All the staff we really nice to talk to.

Would defjnitely go up again if ever in Jasper.

Even if it's cloudy, as it was for us, this is a lot of fun and worth the effort. Lots to see at the top in the building even if there is a mist outside.

We visited the Sky Tram as part of a tour. I travel with a walker/wheelchair. The staff didn’t miss a beat. They gave me enough time to enter and exit and I was able to take the walker on as one of the seats flips up. There is a separate car they can engage if you cannot transfer from your wheelchair. You might want to give them some advance notice if you need it. There were elevators to all floors. Accessible bathrooms were available at the top as well as restaurants. There is an additional walk with lots of stairs, but I did not feel I was missing out by not being able to climb the stairs. Lots of vantage points for a view. Worth a visit and I would say good for those with limited mobility.

This was the highlight of my trip, the view from the peak of whistler mountain was amazing most stunning view ever, I could literally see the entire town and surroundings, lakes, mountains, houses which looks like a triangular or an L share depending on different individual interpretation and there were people from all over the continent on top of that mountain. The staffs were friendly and engaging.
