We stayed here for three nights. Our experience was a mix of positives and negatives.
The positives:
Absolutely excellent location. Nice curb appeal. Extra blankets. Very budget friendly price. Ease of check in and check out. Good communication prior to arrival. Good knowledge of area. Micro wave toaster, and frig in each room. Private baths. Hosts do not smother.
The negatives:
Chirping fire detector. When the power went out for hours one evening we were not checked on. Blinds. No clothes iron. Parking can be a challenge in the evenings. The beds were not that comfortable. A weary and worn feel to the rooms.

Room Tip: ask for the room that has the bathroom off the bedroom...the other room has a bathroom off the comm...

Kathy made our stay 100% better this past weekend, finding rare availability with Tassoni Inn was a treat. Our room was as pictured, 2 double beds in a clean and welcoming suite. We had 2 little ones with us and while many times B&B's are worried about kids making all sorts of noise, Kathy and her husband welcomed our entire family with a smile. The outside gardens are extremly well kept and Kathy, myself and the kids all spend Sunday morning watching a beautiful (but odd) looking creature test out all the flowers. It is only half a block to downtown, free parking, hot showers, private washroom, comfy beds: Couldn't ask for a better little place. We will be back!

Room Tip: Book early! Room B has a private washroom right outside the suite, while room A has its washroom wit...

Friendly hosts and a pleasant house in a good location but.....

......not quite up to the mark in a few key areas

The good - friendly, clean, great locaiton and an outside patio area
The not so good - blinds in front bedroom broken and not effective in maintaining privacy let alone light ingress; very tight space in the front bedroom between one bed and the microwave/fridge area making it almost unuseable; badly fitting bed sheets making for an uncomfortable sleep; no lounge space or table (other than outside) for having breakfast therefore you end up going out. A bit frustrating this as there is a perfectly sized room by the guest entrance which could easily take a table and chairs but is given over to owners freezer and washing machines. As to the beds - perhaps a king size rather than two queen would make for more space.

Our stay in Japser was fine despite this and the comments are made construcitvely as the accomodation could be easily converted from 'average' to 'excellent'.

Our hosts in Banff are somewhat curious as to why B&Bs/Guest Houses in Jasper are not allowed to provide Breakfast whislt it is quite the nrom in Banff (also in the National Park)

Room Tip: Ask for the back room - slightly larger if you have a lot of luggae - but no en suite

Have stayed here on 3 separate occassions, all of which have been enjoyable and comfortable. The owners are really friendly and keen to tell you about the local attractions, and nothing is too much trouble. The entrance is private, which makes it a little more 'personal'. The rooms have everything that you need, a good choice of tv channels and wifi connection. Price is reasonable for such well-appointed rooms and the recently renovated patio area for guest use is a thoughtful addition and really inviting. Set in a prime location - no more than 2 mins walk into town and parking on the road outside is easy. Kathy likes you to remove outdoor shoes at the door, which ensures that the bedrooms maintain their cleanliness and condition.

Room Tip: If possible, choose the front facing room with integral bathroom. The bathroom for the back bedroom...

We enjoyed our two night stay here, it was neat and clean and had everything we needed - kettle, microwave, fridge, TV, internet, crockery & cutlery. We had the room with the en-suite bathroom, the other room has the exterior bathroom right next to it. There is a patio that guests can enjoy, and free parking on the street. The inn is very close to the shops, about half a block away. Kathy is very friendly and helpful, she gave us tips on where to shop. All in all, an enjoyable stay!

Even though we were delayed arriving (due to an unforeseen mudslide on the journey to Jasper), the host Kathy was lovely about it and left our keys on the front door for us to let ourselves in when we arrived. Checking ourselves in was easy enough and when we couldn't locate the towels (our fault, not theirs) she was downstairs helping us with it within a few minutes. Service was good when we needed it, but was otherwise pretty hands-off - we just checked ourselves out and left the keys in the room and were waved goodbye by the hosts from their balcony.

The room was decent with two double/twin beds, a small TV and a bar fridge. We used the fridge in the room to store and cool some of our drinks, but found it to have some strange smell each time we opened up the door - it was empty and looked clean inside, so we're not sure what the cause was, but it was pretty strong smelling even by the time we left. The bedding was relatively clean, but a little old-looking, though it was comfortable enough.

The location is ideal - we left our car at the B&B and just walked around the downtown area and main street without having to drive and find parking - a definite plus!

Looking for a room with two beds for my brother and me and I found this place online. Very close to downtown, nice clean room, and a polite hostess all add up to a hassle free stay.

Internet works but can be a little slow but that's all I really have to complain about:)

Room Tip: One room has full en suite. The other has a private bathroom outside the room.
