The hotel was nice but Sunday nights are very very noisy !!!! People coming out of bar at the opposite hotel athabasca inn . We were awake from 1.30 till about 3 . When we looked out of window there was about 100 people shouting to each other after they had come out of bar. Don't think we will stay there again.

Room Tip: Definitely not at the front of hotel!!!

We spent just one night here whilst on a Rockies tour. The room we were allocated was spacious, comfortable and clean - only downside for us was we were in the room under the roof apex which had two fluorescent lights shining all night long!

The Italian restaurant within the hotel is family run and is first-class, our food was good as was service and alcohol was well-priced.

If you're a train enthusiast you'll find the hotel ideally placed as the track runs at the front of the hotel.

We'd recommend the hotel.

On our cross-Canada train journey we stayed a few days at this delightful hotel. It is located right across from the train station with fabulous mountain views in all directions. The service and staff were very friendly, and the room bright. Everything worked as it should, We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.

Room Tip: Jasper keeps all hotels restricted to 3 floors. The third floor rooms facing either South or East ar...

I spent four nights here and was quite satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had adequate counter space and was not cramped.
The hotel staff were all professional and helpful.. I encountered no problems with any of them.
The location is a plus. It is directly across the street from the train station . The park information center is also just steps away. There are also several good restaurant options not only at the hotel but in the immediate area as well.
The lone downside is that the rooms directly above the Whistle Stop Pub can seem noisy from the activity in the pub, especially if there is live music. I stayed in room 119. I would recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel if you tend to be bothered by noise.
Parking in the hotel loot is also very limited, but there is free parking along the streets surrounding the hotel(with time limitations during certain times of the day) and free 24 hour public parking at the far ends of each side of the train station.
I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms above the Whistle Stop Pub can be somewhat noisy,

Stayed 2 nights. Easy to find and good location everything in close walking distance. Free car parking on site. Reception area spacious and cheerful. Had pub attached to hotel, so convenient. Room had 2 beds very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean with toiletries and hair dryer. Large screen tv and bedroom was spacious with table and chairs, with fridge, and coffee facilities. No Safe. Wifi was free and not that good, breakfast was not included. Would recommend and would stay again.

Si this was only my 2nd time in a hotel in Jasper (typically tent camp) and definitely enjoyed the hotel.

The hotel has recently completed renovations so rooms a clean and of an average size. There is a fridge and flat screen TV which is always nice.

The Italian restaurant on site is ok, although we did not visit this trip. Rooms were quiet and yes we were facing the train station as if you want a view it is your best option.

This hotel is in the centre of Jasper, on a corner and opposite the railway. The rooms were large with 2 comfy double beds, coffee machine but no fridge. The hotel is a bit sad, needs a lick of paint . There is a good hot tub overlooking the mountains. The hotel smelt of beer when we arrived, which I found off putting. It wasn't so bad the next day. We thought we might be kept awake by the continual movement of the freight trains, but it was noise fron the bar over the road that kept us awake. The next night there was a very good group in the downstairs bar, and although this went on till 1am we couldn't hear it in our rooms. The adjoining restaurant served very good food and breakfasts.

Room Tip: Choose the side away from the railway.
