Owner description: Paula Started Walks & Talks Jasper in 1995 when as a Guide for Jasper National Park her position was made redundant. Paula has spent most of her life in Jasper so she has a wealth of information to share with her clients about the flora, fauna, wildlife and history of Jasper while offering guided hikes and winter outing in Jasper." It's all about nature" like to keep my numbers small so the clients get a unique experience while on an outing with my company Walks & Talks Jasper;join a professional level guide.

Paula came to the rescue when we we're let down by a Banff hiking company and we had to amend our itinerary.

Our planned trip to Mt Edith Cavell meadow had to change when Parks Canada closed the access following a glacier incident.

We instead hiked around Maligne Canyon which was a real contrast to our other 2 hikes this week.

Paula is very knowledgable, loves the outdoors and makes the hike as much an educational tour as a hike (which makes it more interesting than doing the hike without a guide).

Thanks for a great morning.

My sister in law and I Went on an afternoon hike with Paula in early June. We were picked up at our hotel. Included in the price. Paula has lived in the area most of her life which gives her the best perspective of the area. Patiently answered all of our many questions. Hiked at our pace. We went on other accompanied experiences but none were as good as this. She made sure we saw things unique to the area with great stories of growing up in the area. recommend A++++++

We went on a hike to Maligne Canyon with Paula this week. It was a great experience and much better than being stuck on a tour bus looking at the sights. Paula is very knowledgeable about the area and was previously a guide with Parks Canada. The walk was great and there are plenty of opportunities en route to take photos or just look at the scenery. We saw a couple of bald eagles, an osprey, a raven's nest and, of course, lots of elk and mule deer. We will try and visit Jasper again next year, but in September rather than May, when more trails are open.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely few hours cross country ski trail with Paula, it was slow paced and relaxed, which was great for me as a beginner, we would definitely like to do a summer hike with Paula in the future.

Paula is a wonderful local guide with a wealth of experience to give about Jasper National Park. She took us to the Athabasca River and Falls while providing us with great insight and knowledge of the local area and its flora and fauna.

The vehicle was really comfortable and we took the tour at a steady pace with photo stops along the drive. We had Paula all to ourselves and were able to find out much history related to Jsaper.

We travelled to Jasper in late October and therefore lakes weren't as full but it was still a great time be in the National Park.
