“"great value"”
Reviewed 17 December 2011

Stayed in October 2011 with husband and 3 children (10,12,14). Loft room - main bedroom down stairs and bedroom upstairs for children. Kitchenette good to help save some money! Fireplace lovely, used duraflame logs bought at reception. Staff friendly. Good value for money. Rooms clean and spacious for family of 5 - extra tv upstairs helped entertain kids after long day of sight seeing.
A little noise from party goers - seemed like a company weekend away - all meeting in one room on our floor.
Overall though great value, clean room, friendly staff. Can't ask for much more.

One of the few hotels in Jasper that have fireplaces in some rooms. We booked a loft suite and loved it. Very cute. Not really for older people as there are narrow stairs up to the loft bedroom and the bathroom is on the main floor if you need to go in the middle of the night. There is a TV in the loft bedroom which is nice. The kitchenette was recently renovated and is great for having picnics in your room. Fireplace was a nice feature. We brought our own wood but you can buy duraflame-type logs from the hotel for $4.50 each I think. They last 3 hours so its not a bad deal. The restauarant/louge on site is petty good. Cheap breakfasts if you have Best Western points. Staff were friendly. The rooms aren't very soundproof, but if guests are being respectful, it shouldn't be an issue. Overall a nice property.

Room Tip: upper loft suites with a fireplace are nice. we stayed in room 429 which was an end unit.

We'd never stayed here before, so we had no idea what sort of say we'd have. There was an immediate followup to our reservation with an email that not only thanked us for our business and gave a confirmation number, but also outlined what there was to do in Jasper, and gave the projections for weather during the time of our stay. We arrived early, and far from being turned away with the usual gruff "Check-in is at 3:30!", a smiling clerk found us a room. Never once was there an ugly moment with hotel staff.

Internet was free, and worked brilliantly (which is more than I can say for most upscale hotels). Good security both with the room, and with an in-room safe that does not open to an easy default code. The room was scrupulously clean, including the kitchen area, and was cleaned meticulously each day we stayed.

On top of it all, the price was extremely reasonable. Would I recommend the BW Jasper Inn? Most certainly. Will I stay there again? You bet!

Room Tip: We had a downstairs room with people above us, and to each side. Even so, the room was quiet the who...

Spent one night in July 2011 at this hotel and highly recommend it. It was in a nice quiet location however within walking distance to town.

The room was beautiful - we had the one bedroom loft with full kitchen and it was gorgeous. The view from the balcony overlooked the garden and was very picturesque.

The swimming pool and hot tub was very nice.

The dining room was excellent for breakfast....the food was great and such a pretty atmosphere....very nice hotel.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We rent 10 rooms and the Big Suite each year for our office holiday. Great lofts, dogs welcome, easy location and a restauraunt on site. Staff are always helpful too. Best value in a tourist town! Can not wait for this years gathering! Cheers, Dr. Randy Crowell, Affinity Dental Group.

We pulled in late one night and the woman gave us a discount for the two-story room with a fireplace! It was so nice; a small kitchen, living area, fireplace (with a free fire-log), bedroom and loft. We had been travelling for about ten days and this hotel was one of the most enjoyable rooms we had, it was clean and had a homey feeling with the fire burning! Would definately come back.

Slightly below average hotel, ok to stay a couple of nights but wouldn't stay longer. Breakfast was a nice buffet with plenty of vegetarian options available, staff were friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and enjoyed our pizza and veggie burger. The waiter was a laugh and we enjoyed his humour.

Rooms quite outdated and dark but slept fine. Probably better hotels around, but we would return to the restaurant.
