“I loved staying here”

This lodge was very well priced, the location was perfect. Views of the mountains and lakes, real taste of canada. The food was great, lots of options to choose from for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Easy access not jasper town.

Room Tip: We stayed in the log cabins which were perfect for friends or if you're a couple.

If you want to stay somewhere clean, this is it. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere and the whole place smelled very fresh. I am sure that they must wash anything washable (including bathroom rugs, bath curtains, etc.). Our family (2 adults & 2 children) rented both rooms in this basement, so did not have to share the one bathroom and private entrance with anyone else. The decore is modern and functional. Both rooms have large windows that open. The hosts left on holiday shortly after we arrived, so did not see much of them, but they seemed friendly enough. Good location (5 minute walk to restaurants & shopping. All in all we were happy with staying here and the price was reasonable compared to hotels in Jasper during the summer months.

Room Tip: Both bedroom doors had an insulating strip around them so that they wouldn't slam when closed...

Stayed here for two nights and slept well, host was friendly enough. Not sure why some of the previous reviewers have got so excited though - nothing spectacular!

Pros: Nice sized room with good facilities (tea & coffee, wi-fi, comfy bed, cable tv)

Cons: No breakfast, shared bathroom, basement area for the rooms (although this is all mentioned when booking, so can't really hold it against the place)

A good bakery around the corner to grab some breakfast is The Bears Paw

We were just passing through town and planning on staying only for one night. We came upon Pyramid Guest House by accident, (eye-cathing house). What a nice place, nice room, comfortable bed, attention to detail everywhere. We ended up staying 3 nights.

Room Tip: We were lucky, next time I would make a reservatin

The room we had (one of two only) was very comfortable. The one thing we missed was some facilities for preparing our own food but we knew this in advance. We managed to make our own coffee though (a big problem in west Canada).
It was very nice to come back to after hiking all day among lakes and mountains. The bathroom is shared by 2 rooms, but the other room was empty so we had it all to ourselves and it's a large and accomodating bathroom and spotlessly clean. Our hostess Sandra did not force her company on us but was right there when we needed anything. She is a very nice, friendly person.
