We stayed at Juniper House in July and found it to be very convenient for town, well run, with a lovely bathroom. We enjoyed sitting out in the back garden during the heat wave, and our host's excellent knowledge of the local area helped us also to pick a local lake for relaxation when the walking got too tough! I would definitely stay here again.

We booked Juniper House last February after reading all the positive reviews. We were delighted with what we found when we got here. It completely exceeded our expectations. We found our lower level king suite just right during the heat wave that assaulted Alberta in late July and early August. We loved having a kitchenette so we could eat and prepare some of our meals and avoid eating all our meals at the very pricey restaurants in Jasper. In addition our host Jennifer gave us excellent recommendations and resources for the many attractions here in Jasper as well as delicious places to eat. We were particularly pleased with The Raven though we warn you it is pricey but worth it. What is most impressive is the level of detail in this lodging that makes your stay more pleasant and easier. And it's without it being too fussy or overdone. The bathroom is luxurious and large with everything you might need or have forgotten. We also felt the pricing was very reasonable for all that one gets. It is a few blocks from downtown so one can park and walk anywhere downtown. We were amazed to find it is 10 years old- it looks like it was just opened. We highly recommend you stay here.

We have been to Jasper several times and always stayed somewhere different. Juniper House is definetely one that we would stay in again and whole heartedly recommend. Just 5 minutes walk down into the shops and restaurants. Jennifer made our stay very special and was very welcoming when we arrived, giving us lots of tips about what to see and do and where to eat. She recommended the Raven Bistro, which would also recommend. While we were in Jasper the temperatures soared to 31c, so our basement room was ideal as it was lovely and cool. I'm sure it would also be very cosy in the cooler weather.

My bestfriend and I stayed at The Juniper House from June 4th to June 9th 2014 in the King Suite and we had a wonderful stay! Both Brent and Jennifer were very accommodating and welcoming. The B&B is very clean and tidy and has a very homie feel to it. When we arrived they gave us a tour and answered all our questions and were very helpful in educating us about the local trails and current activities within the Park! I would stay at this B&B again in a heartbeat! Lovely home and amazing hosts!

Room Tip: The King Suite has a kitchenette! Definitely a perk for a long stay!

We decided last minute to stay an extra night in Jasper but the hotels were full so I decided to check out the B&Bs, note that most B&Bs in Jasper don't include breakfast. We called Jennifer at Juniper House and she said they had a room available and we could come and check it out. As soon as we walled into the house I knew we would stay, the entrance and room were spotless and looked like it had just been built even tho it is five or more years old. You can see the pride of ownership in the whole home and yard and the hosts are friendly and willing to offer helpful information to make your stay in Jasper more enjoyable. We stayed in the queen suite and it was very comfortable and the bathroom had plush towels, not rough and thin like the hotel and was much nicer and larger then most hotels we have stayed in. I can't stress enough how clean everything was and how the room looked like it had just been built. The floor is linoleum but slippers are provided and there is in floor heating for the winter. No carpet equals a cleaner room with no oder or allergen issues. The rate was very reasonable and the location was an easy walk to the main part of town. This B&B is also adult only which will be a bonus for many looking for a peaceful getaway, we have kids so I know what I'm talking about lol. The queen suite we stayed in is one room with two lounge chairs, small table and a bar fridge plus the large bathroom. It is great for a long weekend or a few days but if you want to stay a week or two you may want the king suite which has a separate sitting area and a separate bedroom, a true suite. The king suite will sleep four if you use the sitting area as a sleeping area also. The rooms are in the basement of the house but they have lots of natural light even the bathroom is bright with natural light and being in the basement the room stays cooler in the summer. We will definitely try (if not already booked) to stay here again, maybe trying the king suite. This B&B was a great find and we wish we had time to stay longer.

Very clean and comfortable that makes you feel just in a standard hotel. But the difference is the host who gives a touch of warmth to your travel experience - Jennifer is a great host with the wealth of knowledge and suggestions what to do where to go and what to eat - we loved all the dining places Jennifer recommended and the tips of what to do for each day were very helpful. You can just rely on Jennifer while don't bother of bringing in any maps with you, Jennifer has all the updated brochures and maps for you in the room. There are simple kitchenettes in the room including a coffee maker. It is located in a quiet place but very close to the town center.
