We really love the historical house. Everyday we enjoy delicious ,delicate and plentliful breakfast. We feel convenience, relax and cordiality here. My hostess Cassandra is such a charming madam that I will never forget her. I wish we can be back soon.

We spent one night at this B&B on the way from Portland to Tofino. Cassandra, the proprietress, is delightful. The breakfast was superb. The only drawback from my point of view was the steep stairway to our room, which was a bit difficult for me. But most others would probably have no trouble with that. The bed and the room were comfortable.

Stayed here with friends for two nights while cycling on the Cowichan Valley trail and through the vineyards of the Valley. This is a lovely historic home but with all the conveniences and hosted by Cassandra, Chris and a stately Standard Poodle. The personally prepared breakfast was fabulous, with all the necessary adjustments for my food allergies. Our hosts were a wealth of information about the areas attractions and it is situated very near the Cowichan Valley trail for cycling.
I would happily stay here again!

I have been out many times before and this time brought a friend to enjoy the wonderful hospitality and comfort this place has to offer. We both needed a get away and the hostess gave us all kinds of advise on great activities. I have many food allergies and sensitivities which were all accomodated for in the fabulous breakfasts. The room was so comfortable and spacious. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful and inviting and I look forward to coming back again in August for another visit.

Room Tip: Both the King and Queen room are roomy and very comfortable

This was our fourth visit and we found everything to be as good this time as it was the first. There is nobody resting on their laurels here! Our room was fresh, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

What a beautiful and restful retreat! Unfortunately could only spend one night as I was down on buysiness--the room and ensuite was lovely (OMG--the clawfoot soaker tub)--Cassandra was a very gracious & accommodating hostess--and the breakfast (a recipe of her own creation) was exquisite and I'm quite a 'foodie.' This is truly a hidden gem in Duncan!

Room Tip: The large blue room on the front of the house upstairs was wonderful and bright!

We truly felt like Homesdale House B&B was our home while we spent time in the Duncan area. Our room was spacious, comfortable king size bed, great pillows and large en suite bathroom. The common area between the bedrooms is also well equipped, everything is neat and very clean. Breakfast were far better than at home......fresh local fruit, local produce and different every morning. Casandra is a wealth of information whether it be restuarants, what to see, and how to get there. A most enjoyable stay, I highly recommend the hospitality, the food and the accomodation.
