Was recommended by the Funky Frog B&B and wasn't disappointed. They were very friendly and the wine was superb! Their land and scenery was really nice too- has a beautiful view of the valley and a stunning patio to veg and have a nice lunch!

“Beautiful patio, great presentation room for tasting”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

We visited today as our first Vancouver island wine stop ever! we have been around the world to different wineries and for some reason always miss the ones closest to home.

This winery is conveniently located and easy to find. They have one of the most beautiful patio restaurants and gardens I have seen on the island, I wish we had visited a couple weeks sooner so we could enjoy it when the restaurant was still in service for the season.

The wine shop was very well laid out, with a great selection of their wines and a helpful, knowledgeable staff member doing the wine presentations for the tasting. She really knew her wines and was well versed on the winery as well, great customer service.

I would highly recommend making it to this winery anytime on a beautiful summer day to enjoy their patio for a wine tasting & lunch, but it is also well worth the stop to enjoy a quick tasting and take home one of their unique wines. The best surprise was their non-alcoholic "grape juice" that had the most crisp, divine flavor for a juice that I think I have ever found!

Make this one of your stops on the Cowichan valley wine region tours and bring home some blackberry port.

“like they need another review”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

On a whim we choose to take the 18km drive and check it out. Oh my goodness!
What a great time we had...and we even talked to the people at the next table.!!!

The wine tasting was a great experience for us novices. The host was more than delightful.
Taking a picnic on the provided terrace was fab!!!! A do it yourself situation. Three cheers for this establishment for providing such a sweet spot to sit, sip, and social.
Totally classy at an affordable price.

“One of the best wineries in Canada”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

Always welcoming, always new wines from the previous year and great new gift ideas. Andy and Wendy the owners are top notch and try harder than anyone I know to please and to provide exceptional wine and succeed year after year. tasting today was a fresh crisp apple taste refresher and then Rose, Pinot Gris, Marchel Foch, Pinot Noir followed by dessert wines - a Blackberry that we had tried before and a new Blackberry Tawny aged in oak 5 years SUBLIME.
Great place to take your picnic - they will sell you the chilled bottle and provide ice bucket and glasses. THIS PLACE IS JUST PERFECT!!!! 10/10
