Most of the offerings are quite good and reasonably priced here. The notable exception is their calamari dish which is gawd awful - terrible quality overcooked calamari with cheap pickled peppers spread over top. How creative is that? Gotta dig that deck though.

Had a fantastic Seafood Platter for two at a reasonable price, great priced wine list, great service and a beautiful view. We loved it so much we almost went back again our second night there. We will be going back for sure!

Food here is great! Fresh and well prepared. The halibut fish and chips on special is to die for! Service, just average. Kitchen is very very slow, so be ready for a long wait for your food. However the view outside on the deck is to die for, so bring your friends or loved ones and just enjoy being outside in the great outdoors in the wonderful little funky town of Cowichan Bay.

After eating here for the past 5 years on a regular basis, it's time for a review. Surprised to see only 2 reviews here so far.

Sunday during the Prawn Festival, my partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal on their patio with the great view of the bay and Mt. Tzou. Cheapest pour of Guinness anywhere (when on special) and our appies ($5 burger, crab cakes, prawn special) were tasty and great value.

Service is consistently good and their chowder is a house special that has to be tried at least once. I'm usually not a soup-guy, but their chowder is definitely above average!

Despite the "touristy location" with the great view, the prices are normal and not elevated. So, to any visitors, this is a great alternative to the more expensive eats in the immediate neighborhood.

Great place to eat. The food is excellent and so is the service. A great view from the deck. Parking is very crowded and not a pleasant experience.
