“Go for the split order!”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

I have been to this restaurant in Harrison many times and it never disappoints. It is not fine dining; just consistent and good. The schnitzel portions are huge! If you can agree on one to split, they will split the order in the kitchen for an upcharge and you both get all the sides - well worth it. The spatzle is good, I think you have to ask for it! Enjoy.....

“Schnitzel smorgasbord”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Good food and good service. Booked on line through open table. We liked the bread, the schnitzel, the sausages and the red cabbage.

“Perfect way to end our day”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

Found a spot to sit in the popular patio, facing the beach.
Seated right away, drinks on their within moments if siting down.
We were wanting just a light meal so Caesar Salad & Lentil Soup was ordered. They were both tasty & served quickly.
Waitress, Kelly, warmed up to us once we started to chat with her.

“OK Schnitzel at HUGE price”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

The Schnitzel here was decent and my daughter liked her bratwurst and carrots but the meal was marred by awful people cursing at the next table and more rude service. And the bill was exorbitant. At least the beer was good.

“This is not traditional german food”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Growing up in Germany and expecting a taste of my homeland after reviewing the feedback , I can honestly say ..disappointing ! My French onion soup was flat and boring , missing the acidity of the burgundy , the smoothness of the gruyere cheese and the crispness of the bread . Not to mention the two bay leaves I found in my dish . I ordered the Jaegerschnitzel with Spaetzel , again a real let down. It came cut up in 6 pieces ( what schnitzel comes like that) , not tenderized at all , but rather presented as a pork chop ( tough and dry) ! The sauce tasted commercial , not homemade , and the red cabbage lacked the flavour as it was masked in butter ! Needless to say , I send it back and thankfully was not charged for this disaster !
