Stayed here while at a conference in Kamloops.

The hotel is clean and the staff pleasant.
We had a valley premium room. It was plain but clean. The bed was comfortable, bedding nice. The shower had good pressure and there was a nice TV with remote and a fridge. No safe in the room.

We booked on a conference rate so I'm not sure how that compares to the regular rate but it seemed like decent value for the money. It wasn't a memorable hotel but I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

This Coast property is a full service Hotel. It has large convention and meeting rooms. A high quality restaurant is located on site with a neighborhood pub located across the street. There is ample parking. The Hotel is located just off Highway #1. The Hotel has a large indoor swimming pool in a tropical setting. The rooms have been completely updated. The rooms meet or exceed Coast Hotel standards.

Room Tip: The rooms located adjacent to the pool area can be quite humid. If you prefer access to outside air...

The room was clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable. The glasses were not clean. You shouldn't clean glasses in the bathroom sink. The hotel is quite a distance to downtown but there are restaurants in the area.

Stayed overnight as part of the Rocky Mountaineer Trip. Lovely room which was clean and also felt very roomy. Food was good and service, staff also friendly. Loved the indoor pool area, felt very safe. Would definitely stay again.

We stopped for a pre-booked supper for two charter bus loads of over 100 high school students and we were not disappointed. This is our second time to stop here between Vancouver and Edmonton and both times were excellent. The first was for a breakfast buffet and the second was for a lunch and both were very good. We did not stay in any of the rooms but if the food and ground level are any indication then I am sure the rooms would be good as well. The washrooms were clean and easy to access, the staff were friendly and prompt and there is plenty of parking. Access from the highway is easy and it is a short walk to stores in the area.

Room Tip: Very good buffet

Only three pet friendly hotel rooms in this entire complex! Strange when a brand advertises so much on being pet friendly.
Asked front desk clerk to put on my profile that I always travel with my dog. She said she could not.
Hotels track all types of information, I'm sure there is a comments section in my "Coast Rewards" profile.
So pup slept in car.
I'm not a huge fan of these atrium style hotels. Some beautiful views in Kamloops, ours was of unset banquet tables and host stand of Preston's.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry that you were unable to reserve one of our three pet designated rooms when you booked your stay with us. I brought your profile request to the attention of our Rooms Division Manager and she let me know that the desk staff is able to update your profile with your comment that you always travel with a pet. She will bring this to the attention of the staff at the desk. Please do still request a pet room when you reserve to cover all bases. When we read your review, wide could not identify which guest you were though to make this adjustment. I will email you through TripAdvisor requesting your last name, so that we can update your profile for you. If we are able to enjoy you return, you may prefer the pet designated rooms, which are not on the atrium side, but at the front side of the hotel. My apologies if there were unclothed tables in the atrium impeding the tropical pool view. I will pass this along. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts and experience.

In the highlands of Kamloops, this is a good hotel when travelling to Vancouver from Alberta. Nice looking, soothing pool/garden and courteous staff. Good in that the hotel is just off highway 5 although the narrow road gets a fair amount of traffic. Lots of fast food places nearby to aid a speedy get away.

We found the beds a bit soft and the thumping of either the elephant or the heavy foot fall guest above lead to a so-so night's sleep. We may be back but not as a destination in of itself.

Room Tip: When exiting the hotel, turn right. The traffic seems to move faster onto highway 5.

Thank you for your recommendation as a good hotel between Vancouver and the Rockies. When you do come again, please ask them to request on your reservation that you prefer a firm bed. We will do our best to accommodate the request, as we do have a variety of beds in the property. We thank you for your business and look forward to your return.
