We stopped here as we were on a 2 day Rocky Mountaineer train journey from Banff to Vancouver and they put you up in hotels in Kamloops for the middle night. There were a number of us from the train staying at this hotel. It is basically a motel.
Our room was a good size with 2 good beds. The bathroom was small with shower over the bath and a toilet but the wash hand basin was in the bedroom. Everything was very clean and it worked ie the iron, hair drier TV and fridge.
The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is an eaterie next door - about a 3 minute walk. This was AWFUL. It was so dark inside you could hardly read the menu and the food was grim. We were not paying as our evening meal was included in our train fare package but if we had been paying we would not have been at all happy. Fortunately we did not need to have breakfast there as this was provided on the train. We were somewhat relieved to hear that fellow passengers who had stayed elsewhere in Kamloops had a similar experience - the accommodation was fine but the eating arrangements were poor.
