Big, and I mean big, dip in mattress. Feeling of being bitten by bugs you couldn't see. Very itchy. Rude front desk staff. Too itchy to stay ever again. Couldn't find another vacancy anywhere in the city due to conferences. Stayed the one night but checked out in the morning. Very itchy!

Stayed en transit. Perfect hotel for these needs. Arrived at night and on arrival outside wondered if we had made a mistake as it didn't look that appealing. However, once at reception it was clear that renovations had taken place and the lobby area was nice, rooms had recently being renovated and there were no complaints on either cleanliness or size. We had flown in from New Zealand that day, were tired and hungry. Decided to have steak dinner at the hotel restaurant and it exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly and courteous.Would definitely stay there again. Diverse buffet breakfast was included in the price and included the option to cook your own hotcakes. Free wireless internet was also included. The price was more than competitive when location, breakfast and wireless internet was taken in to account. Though we were only staying one night, I would definitely consider staying there for a longer stay.

My friends and I stayed at the Executive Inn for three nights while on a golf trip to the area. I wasn't expecting too much as almost every other hotel in Kamloops was booked for one of the nights we were there. But it wasn't too bad at all and we were quite comfortable. It's not a great hotel, a little older perhaps, but the rooms were comfortable and clean and we liked the location. It was right downtown and you could walk to several restaurants and shops. It is also close to the hockey/concert arena and the rail station.

I'm not sure the rooms had AC, the shower went hot and cold sometimes, and there is some street noise, but other than that it was fine. The hotel has a restaurant and pub downstairs, and the casino is right next door.

For internet service the lobby has a coin operated computer, $2 for ten minutes.

All in all it's a decent choice for a day or two when travelling through Kamloops.

Overnight stop as part of the Rocky Mountaineer train. After check-in I went to assigned room and swipped the key card and entered a room with a man and woman already in it. They claimed it was their room. I put our bags in a friends room while I returned to the front desk. I was given another room on the same floor. Room and bed was nice....bathroom needs repairs.

We stayed here for 1 night during a Rocky Mountaineer Vacation. We were surprised by the room (#514) decoration and comfort, based on the appearance of the outside of the hotel and lobby. Newly decorated, modern, dark wood decor with a wonderful king size bed and LCD TV. Small bathroom. I usually don't compliment hotel toiletries, but these were great--grapefruit soap, green tea shampoo. Wonderful sushi restaurant (Oriental Gardens) across the street.
