I used Kamloops as a stop over between Vancouver and Banff. After a scenic trip through the Rockies on the Greyhound Bus, we arrived at the terminal in a grotty end of town. I telephoned the guesthouse and Gary picked me up 15 minutes later, at no extra charge. The guesthouse is in a nice part of town near a Safeway supermarket and the kitchen was clean and well equipped. Otherwise there is nothing near by of any interest. The bedroom was very comfortable with a shared bathroom that was spotless. The next morning Gary picked me up on time to take me back to the Greyhound Bus Terminal to continue my trip to Vancouver. OVerall, a very gratifying experience and I was glad to get a good night's rest before continuing my trip.
