“Went downhill”

This used to be one of my fav reataurants in town. We went today and they had all new menus and drink menus. Nothing really caught our eye. I used to get the butter chicken :( we were all disaponted with our meals. Our waitress was very slow. The table beside us had complained they were there two hours before getting their meals. Wont be going back

“Shockingly Poor”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

I have eaten here before for dinner and it was very decent. Tried it for lunch on a Saturday with my two boys, 12 and 9. In spite of not appearing overly busy, we had to wait 58 minutes to receive our food. 2 minutes before the limit time I told the boys we'd leave and go to McDonalds. We only ordered 2 burgers w/ fries, and a personal pizza. The fries arrived cool, not just 'not warm', cool! My burger was way overcooked with excessive charred edges and the bun tasted like it was a week old. The $4 drinks (each!) for the kids were never offered to be refilled during the long wait. The pizza my son received was not the one he ordered, but we waited so long we didn't even say anything. I'd say avoid this restaurant but I don't think you'll have to. It will likely not be in business.

“New menu, chef, owner. Good food”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

We were a little concerned when we heard that ownership of this restaurant had changed hands. We've been a few times and the more recent reviews were not great so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Some of the menu items have been kept on from before but there are a lot of new ones. Prices ranged from $15.xx (for a personal size pizza) to $33ish. The selection of draft beer has become very limited and there is a new cocktail menu. We ordered the mushroom and risotto appetizer, a burger, yam fries, and a seafood pasta dish. The burger had a good size patty and a ciabatta bun. The yam fries were excellent - no frozen stuff here. Big ripple cut pieces perfectly fried - not greasy at all. The seafood pasta had three large scallops and three large prawns, a lot of veggies and good sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. One of the scallops was not cooked through - glaringly obvious when placed beside one that was. I would have rated this restaurant as Very Good except for the poorly cooked scallop and the lack of a dark ale on tap. Worth mentioning is that many of the menu items are Gluten Free and/or Celiac (I assume this means suitable for Celiac). Our server was excellent, explaining menu items when asked and very personable.

“So Disapointed!”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

We were told by friends to go to this restaurant as the food and service were great. We took their advice and tried it out. We we're so disappointed. The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not very busy. We had to ask for a refill for coffee and finally our check. Good food is worth waiting for but our long wait did not bring good food. We were surprised by the small portions, raw fish in the fish and chips, and then they thought we should eat the fries while they cooked the fish. On a positive note, they served excellent coffee.

“OK, but not healthy and not worth the money.”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Food is not bad but definitely not great. For the price it was disappointing, particularly given the blurbs about healthy and light eating available. For example, is salmon farmed or wild, fresh or frozen? Menu doesn't say. Free range chicken served on a sugary barbecue sauce.
