This is just the hotel one looks for when travelling on vacation with family. Clean rooms, excellent complimentary breakfast, nice pool with a waterslide, courteous and friendly staff, good location with free parking and Wi-Fi. We had a real comfortable 2 night stay at this hotel. The most important thing about this hotel is that it is extremely neat and clean with no bed bugs about which we are very particular. Microwave in the room was not working properly; I informed the front desk about that and they promptly acted on my complaint to get it changed. This shows how professional is the staff of this hotel who are doing an extremely good job to maintain their high standards. This is the hotel I will be staying in whenever visiting Kelowna.

Room Tip: The hotel provides discounted passes/tickets to the H2O Waterpark.

We booked last minute and got the very last room left in the hotel. With campgrounds and motels totally full, we bit our lips and shelled out nearly 300 dollars to stay in an executive suite (again, last room left). We were very happy with the room and with the pool and waterside they had. Beds very comfy, pillows the size of square couch cushions, which was odd. Tried to get a few extra pillows since there weren't any in the room for the children sleeping on the pullout couch but was told that they only had one solitary pillow left in the hotel to give us. The young lady was very nice, but to be honest when I spend that much money on a room at a more budget type hotel I would like enough pillows available for our family of four. Executive suite had one room with king bed and bubble tub, one washroom with shower /tub/sink, a main living space with table for two and a pullout sofa. There was also a fridge, micro and small bar sink. There was a free 'deluxe' breakfast that was just OK (not even comparable to the Vernon Best Western free breaky). We watched one family load up on more food than my own family eat in a week - plateful after plateful of bacon, eggs, english muffins, toast, cereal - they stood at the waffle press and made a half dozen of them while everyone else watched in bewilderment. Maybe because they were from another country the concept of free breakfast was exciting but it was RUDE. Management should be able to step in and let greedy and inconsiderate guests know when their behaviour is unacceptable (and most certainly un-Canadian like!)
Note: this hotel is not within walking distance of lake or downtown, incase that is what you require. We were very happy to not be in that vicinity!

Sincerely, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Trip Advisor. I truly do appreciate you taking the time to make your write up and appreciate your comments regarding the challenges during breakfast bar opening. We do offer a Free Hot Breakfast and we find that the majority of our guests are very courteous of fellow travellers.

Its unfortunate that this did not happen with your stay. We do hope to be able to welcome you back in the future, Until then,

warm regards,

The Kelowna Comfort Inn is very clean and the staff are quite friendly. The room was a fairly good size and very comfortable. All in all, the Comfort Inn is a reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay in Kelowna. The WiFi could use improvement. Although we had full signal strength, the bandwidth was very limited...even though the hotel was not full.

Just a few nights stopping over on our way from Calgary to Vancouver, this new property was well appointed, has family geared amenities and complientary HOT BREAKFAST! The water slide for kids, though we never got to use, looked great! AMA pricing makes this hotel easy for family on budget; also nice wooden crib provided which was a nice perk. Only downside was that hotel is on outskirts of town and a good 30 minute drive to downtown or Gyro beach in Kelowna traffic.

Stayed here in July with my wife and two kids for 4 nights. Came to check in but was told room wasn't ready. Manager informed us they are swamp with guess checking out staying the night before. It was a little inconvenient but we just drove down town had Vietnamese at Pho Soc Trang (recommended) and the suite was ready right as we were finish eating. We rented the king/queen room. This room is huge. The master has a king bed with an ensuite. The living room/bed room has the queen and a double pull out sofa and it's own bath room. Hotel comes with a pool and slide which the kids love. The free breakfast is a welcome bonus, the selections were not bad although it can get a little crowded (they ran out of eggs and bacon one day) and the kitchen staff can use a little more help. There was only one girl working each morning. Despite of that, it saves us a lot of time and money to have to look for breakfast each morning. The hotel is on the edge of Kelowna but that was never a problem to us, as it's only about 10 minutes to down town. This is a great hotel, quiet with an excellent staff. We were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here...the only tiny complain I have is I wish they have free weights in the exercise room but that just being picky. Two thumbs waay up....

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Trip Advisor. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, you are right-, it does get quite busy in the breakfast bar and I am thrilled that you enjoyed the free breakfast. Thanks too for the idea for free weights; it may be something to look at for sure. There will be new standards for the Choice fitness centres in the coming year- hopefully it will include the free weights. For now though, thanks ever so much for sharing your comments.
