This wonderful property was not listed in Trip Advisor under "B&B"s, but luckily was inadvertently found under "Specialty Lodging"... From the first telephone contact, to the warm wine-sipping welcome, to the clean, luxurious suite and property, Ogopogo B&B is a perfect getaway for couples. Breakfast is over-the-top creative and yummy. Karen the proprietress is charming and always happy to help with restaurant reservations, wine tour suggestions, and local info that made our stay truly memorable. Located across the street from the beach, and a short walk to terrific restaurants and beautiful nature conservancy and boardwalk; my wife and I are so happy we stayed at Ogopogo... we had a difficult time leaving. Ogopogo and Karen deserve 5 Star ratings.

Room Tip: Either Suite is terrific!

We normally do not stay at b&bs but the pictures and write ups captured my interest---and the it was as amazing as it looks. First class accommodations. The house is stunning - only a few years old, beautiful decor, architectural detail and features. The guest rooms are filled with amenities -- you could not ask for more, simply over the top. Hospitality and service - it does not get any better. Karen the owner just takes care of everything -- she truly makes you feel at home. She is an exceptional chef and breakfast is a master piece. The location is the best -- you can walk downtown and to the best restaurants in town. We rode her bikes around the city ---great place to cycle. We are definitely coming back and telling all our friends about this little jewel. We stayed in the Manhattan room which would be my choice again because of he balcony overlooking the lake. You won't find a shower like this in any hotel -- with 6 water sources. Fine linens --all the very best.

What an amazing place, Karen certainly is the hostess with the mostess and she makes you feel so welcome and at home that it was hard to leave! Her breakfasts were amazing and so good that we didn't need lunch either day that we were there!
We were in the sunset suite and it was spotless, very comfortable and private, the common areas of the house were amazing with a separate patio area, views of the lake and the beach access just accross the street.
We couldn't have asked for more and if we ever get back to Kelowna we know where we are going to stay!
We were a little dubious because of the closeness of the sawmill but there was certainly nothing to worry about there - it was quiet and you wouldn't even know it was there. Easy walking distance into town so no need to worry about Cabs and Karen can help you with restaurant booking and a wide assortment of other tours/activities etc.

Room Tip: Don't be put off by the Sawmill nearby

The Ogopogo Bed and Breakfast was delightful. We only wish we could of stayed longer. Really beautifully cape cod style house. We stayed in the Sunset Suite, but would stay in the Manhattan next time as it is on the second floor and has a private deck. Very comfortable bed with super soft bamboo sheets and loaner bikes that we road in to town for dinner. The highlight, however, is Karen the proprietor. She was a fabulous host who greeted us with a glass of wine on arrival and cooked up the most amazing breakfast the next morning. yummy!

This B&B was simply amazing! To celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary we wanted to stay somewhere extra nice and this place did not disappoint! Our host really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and luxurious! She spoiled us with high quality sheets & bedding, fresh flowers, expensive chocolates, complimentary snacks in our room, wonderful breakfasts and even made dinner reservations for us! The house itself was absolutely stunning and impeccably clean with a perfect view of the lake! The B&B also offered bikes, a kayak, a private gym and on-site spa services making it a perfect weekend away! The B&B was in a great part of town with lots to do nearby and the whole stay was hassle free, our host really made us feel at home. We stayed 3 nights there and can’t wait to go back!

Room Tip: Manhattan Suite- worth every penny!

It did not take long before my wife and I fell in love with not only the beautiful home, the fine decor, all the ameneties, but also with the most charming owner, Karen. We felt such a welcoming feeling which lasted throughout our five days there. She greeted us with a glass of fine wine and a very tasty brochetta. The fresh coffee was always there when we got up in the morning, the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. The room, the service and the breakfasts were all 5-star.
The experience we had at Ogopogo is one we will always remember as nothing but the best. Very good value indeed!
We already have reserved our room at Ogopogo B&B for next year.

Amazing. This home is gorgeous. Karen greeted us with her beautiful smile, showed us around and then opened a lovely bottle of wine while we watched her make delicious bruschetta with tomatoes from her garden. After lovely conversation we asked her to join us for dinner along with her friends Kris and L.D. We had a lovely evening and retired to a cozy bed from heaven. The hospitality was so appreciated and her breakfasts are straight out of Food Magazine. The home is so beautiful and in such a gorgeous and centrally located area. We were sad to leave our new friend and will return next year for a longer stay. I highly recommend this lovely B and B.
