We had the most amazing time at this bed and breakfast. The service and the food were exceptional.

My wife and I were in Canada for a fantastic 3 week trip - but our two night stay in Ogopogo was one of the highlights. From the moment we arrived, Karen went to a huge effort to make us welcome - from sharing wine with us when we arrived to allowing us the use of bikes and canoes. Karens advice on where to eat was brilliant, as was her recommended cycle route.

The accommodation is to a very high standard -spotlessly clean, comfortable and large. Breakfast was something to look forwards to - great food, brilliantly prepared and presented, and accompanied by friendly conversation as she prepared and served it.

Ogogogo is right by the lake, with public access to it right across the street. It is a five minute walk to downtown, so no need for taxis or to worry about parking.

If we are ever anywhere near, we will be back!

We are so happy we found this gem!! I have traveled to 27 different countries & stayed in many B&B's & this one by far was my favourite.
My husband and i stayed at the Ogopogo B&B the week of our wedding in Kelowna & feel so grateful to have had such awesome service and beautiful surroundings.
The house is absolutely stunning, very clean with every detail thought of.
Karen ( the owner) goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable, relaxed and well taken care of... did i mention her breakfasts are to die for, sooo delicious.
When we arrived back to the B&B the night of our wedding, Karen had put out Champagne, rose petals & chocolates for us to enjoy ( very thoughtful ), this was just one of the many things Karen did to make our stay so enjoyable that week. We cant wait to go back and stay at her beautiful B&B and also catch up with a great friend we made that week. Thanks Karen :)

Room Tip: Both rooms are stunning.

My husband and I were over in Canada from Scotland for a wedding and spent three nights at the Ogopogo....we loved every minute of it. From the moment we arrived, Karen (the owner) went out of her way to make us feel welcome, offering us wine and bruchetta (made with tomatoes and basil from her own garden), putting a 'welcome basket' of goodies in our room and a basket of fresh local peaches....she really couldn't have been nicer. The B&B itself is immaculate, beautifully furnished (more like a small botique hotel than a B&B) and is directly opposite a small beach. The location is wonderful with only a ten minute walk to a multitude of bars, shops and restaurants and the local wineries are only a short drive away. You pay a little bit more to stay at the Ogopogo than your average B&B but it's far more than an average B&B and we thought it was worth every penny.....Karen also cooks the best breakfast we had in the whole of our Canada trip.

Looking for a place that's on par with the Four Seasons or the Peninsula Hotel? Want to be pampered with beautiful accommodations and 5 star breakfasts? Then email a reservation to owner Karen at the Ogopogo B&B and treat yourself. You'll be raving to all your family and friends that it's perfect in every way. She has thought of everything and she brings it to you with great enthusiasm. Fresh vegetables from her garden coupled with her amazing cooking skills will cause you to overeat. No worries. She's ready to provide complementary bikes and kayak to work off the calories. Relax on your terrace. Treats in your room, drinks in your fridge, lush towels in the gorgeous bathrooms. Stretch out in the common living space and make yourself at home. Karen wouldn't have it any other way. What a delightful stay we had.

Upon arrival Karen was making bruschetta's for the guests and completed with a nice glass of wine we sat on the main terrace looking out on the lake. Our room was immaculate clean with a comfy bed with bamboo sheets which were soooo soft. The house is modern and wonderfully decorated. Within an easy stroll or bike (free) ride to good restaurants. The breakfasts are like brunches, made with fresh, local products and the plates are decorated with fresh flowers which gave the breakfasts a special touch. One morning we had the kayak (free as well) and explored a small part of the lake and one afternoon we went (on Karen's advise) to Qails Gate and Mission Hill wineries, which was very beautiful and nice too. We stayed 3 nights in this very comfortable bed and breakfast with a 5 star service!

What a treat this was to have the main house to ourselves as we booked out both rooms with another couple. The common area is simply gorgeous and true to the images on the website. We wound up hanging out at the house a lot more than expected playing board games because of the spectacular water view and quiet, comfortable patio and living room.

Karen made us feel at ease right away and let us know that she was readily available for questions. Her lively personality and lived experiences gave depth to our conversations. We thought it was great that she trusted us to her house and was very generous with a complementary fridge with drinks in our rooms and a basket of goodies. Her delicious breakfasts (more like brunches) were plentiful and we saved money by skipping lunch! Definite thumbs-up also to the freshness and health factor to her food!

I've stayed at a number of B&B's in Kelowna, Naramata and Victoria and this one's definitely at the top of my list.
