The hosts of "A Touch of English B&B" welcomed us to their bed and breakfast with enthusiasm and warmth. At once we were family. We felt very comfortable thanks to the exceptional introduction. Clare, the hostess, embodied hospitality at its finest with a perfect balance of professionalism and humour. She took an enthusiastic and genuine interest in all her guests. I cant wait to return here! Clare and Kelly will make your stay a pleasure. Though we only stayed for one night, they treated us like royalty, made us laugh and ultimately blessed our lives. I cant wait to stay here again and encourage you to stay here too!

Sometimes you just get that great feeling about meeting guests, right from the get go, I knew we would enjoy welcoming you to the B&B - we are so glad you had a great time at the winery for dinner, and loved our chats over breakfast the next day.

This is a review for a trip that occurred on August 18-21, 2013.

What a fantastic experience we had. We arrived just in time for high tea which we happily settled into after checking into our room. The selection of teas, local fruits and especially Clare's scones was a nice touch for arriving and existing guests. It was during high tea each day that we really got to chat with the other guests and it make the experience that much more memorable.

The accommodations were lovely (we were in the Essex room and it looks as it appears in the pictures), the bed quite comfortable and the bathroom quite posh. The B&B itself has been meticulously restored and the care and attention Clare and Kelly have put into it is quite evident. The indoor and outdoor eating areas are very comfortable and the pool was a nice addition after hikes during the daytime heat. The food was exceptional and always more than I could possibly eat. Most importantly Clare and Kelly were warm, friendly hosts that made your experience that much more memorable.

The location of the B&B is wonderful - quiet local neighborhood, within walking distance to a coffee shop if you want a nice stroll and somewhere to do, and conveniently located close to the major wine areas of Kelowna and downtown itself. It is only about 20 mins by car from the airport.

I would happily recommend this property for people coming to Kelowna for any type of travel.

Room Tip: Our only experience was with the Essex room. It overlooks the pool (back of the house) and onto Dilw...

My wife and I stayed for three days during September 2013 whilst on holiday in Canada. Clare and Kelly were brilliant hosts and Kelly's breakfasts just too good for words. The wine tour that they recommended was great, (our own initial attempts were all full), and Clare's French restaurant recommendation also meant that we had a really enjoyable evening. Kelowna and the Okanagan valley are very definitely worth a visit. Can't recommend this B. and B. highly enough. Our only regret is that we live too far away for regular visits.

Room Tip: The Devon Room had great views and facilities.

It is easy to see why this B &B is one of the 10 best in Canada. The service and hospitality are top notch.

Claire and Kelly make you feel right at home and part of the family. They are quick to offer fantastic tips about what the area has to offer and their suggestions are right on. The accommodations are great and extremely comfortable and the breakfasts each morning will make anyone go off their diet. They're superb.

There are only six rooms so reservations in advance are essential.... Especially in the high season.

The Okanagan valley is a fantastic destination if you love wine, golf and water sports. Okanagan lake is a beauty to behold.

Had a lovely time visiting Kelowna and the surrounding Wineries.
Had a delightful room at the "touch of English", accommodations were clean, friendly and both Claire and Kelly were the perfect hosts.
We will be directing friends to this pleasant B&B when they tour the area.

Our guests, John & Barbara, we were so glad you enjoyed the local wineries, the area, the good weather and our B&B - you certainly made us smile having guests like you both, so thank you and hopefully we meet again, next summer.

We were wine tasting in the Okanagon Valley with my sister-in-law and her fiance and stayed here two nights. The motto of this B&B is "Come as guests, leave as friends" couldn't be more true. We drove from Vancouver and arrived later than we anticipated. Despite our late arrival Clare had tea and scones prepared. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, very comfortable. Kelly is an excellent cook and the breakfasts were superb. Clare is an ebullient host and went out of her way on our behalf. My sister-in-law had made a dinner reservation for our first night and we asked Clare to suggest a restaurant for our 2nd night. She said she would. When we returned to the B&B she had spent a long time on the phone trying to get us a reservation (it was Saturday night), every restaurant in town was full, she finally was able to book us into an Italian restaurant in town which she thought we would like, had made the reservation. And the restaurant was excellent (sadly it wasn't BYOB). We left our luggage at the B&B, went on a long walk which Clare suggested, had lunch in town, returned to get our luggage and then take my sister-in-law's fiance to the airport. On the way to the airport Clare called to say we left one bag. We would all recommend A Touch of English to those going to Kelowna. It's not the easiest place to find, thanks to GPS we did.

Room Tip: We were staying on the 2nd floor in the en suite rooms. Highly recommended.

We were "Newbies" to B&B's and so our first experience was awesome. Claire came outside to introduce herself and welcome us to their home. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast that Kelly prepared was also fabulous. We would not hesitate to return in the future. Thanks again, Denise and Francis
