Reviewed 6 October 2013

We booked a room in this hotel when passing buy. We are junkies for a room-with-a-view, and as such we were immediately sold when we saw the room. They warned us it could be noisy because of the bar, but the view was so good we accepted that.
On top of the view, the room was very comfortable and the service was excellent.
We also had a great meal at the side of the water.
We did indeed have some noise problems, but they were over once the bar was closed.
The breakfast was simply ok.
Even with the noise I would go back there (if it was not so far from Belgium...)

This is my home away from home when I am in Kelowna. Always a positive experience, great rooms and on the lake. I love that the front desk staff knows who I am when I check in and check out, it makes me feel important to them. The pub is good especially in the summer with the patio right on the lake - it doesn't get better in Kelowna for a place to have a pint.

Great atmosphere & location. Rooms are large & very clean ,we liked the room decor. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. The breakfast room is small but the service & the food was very good. Check in & check out ,quick & efficient. Staff very friendly.Would definitely would stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a room with a view ,you won't regret it, also a room on a higher floor.

Beautiful location on the lake - have stayed here numerous times now and never disappoints. Staff friendly and most helpful! And the view from the roof top deck at sunset - amazing! Enjoyed the morning coffee served in the lobby - maybe they could expand to include evening coffee as well? Enjoyed walking the lakeside boardwalk but it would be nice if the hotel had bikes to use or rent to explore the area around the hotel further. Also found the rentals at the marina a little expensive (perhaps better discounts for hotel guests?)

Room Tip: Rooms in the arms are quieter and much roomier however nothing beats a quaint heritage room with a v...

After visiting the Eldorado last summer and again this winter we decided to get married here. We were told by our guests it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The venue and food here were both amazing. The guests that decided to stay here loved it as much as we did. It is expensive, and it is a boutique hotel so the furniture is of an older style so if that is not your cup of tea I don't recommend it for you. But if it is there is no better place to stay. The restaurant is incredible, the beds are super comfortable, very clean, great service, and is in the best location in Kelowna.

Room Tip: It is worth getting a lakeview room, the view is worth it.

Stayed here for 1 night in September. We had 2 standard rooms in the Arms. The rooms were clean, large and very nicely appointed. Wifi was generally OK but we did have a bit of a problem with it from time-to-time. Breakfast was good and the service was friendly and efficient. Orders can be placed off the menu at the same price as the breakfast buffet. The breakfast/dining room is small but you cannot automatically expand onto the patio because there are no heaters.
The staff member who checked us in seemed quite disinterested and more concerned about leaving for the day than getting us settled in for our stay. Certainly not what you expect from a hotel of this quality.
The Eldorado is a fine hotel but at $300+ per night, it does not feel like value for money.

My wife and I just stayed 2 nights in one of their nicest suites. Beautiful views of okanagan lake and large room. I have to say, I will probably not return to this hotel as I have stayed in much nicer for a lot less in kelowna. The dinner we had down on the boardwalk was amazing and would highly recommend.

Room Tip: We choose a suite on the top floor of the newer "arms" section. Room 422. The view was ama...
