Went for a day trip with family from the UK.

The site I further from Kelowna than I had expected, but the drive out was beautiful.

The trail is bike and stroller friendly, and the trestle bridges are inspiring.

This spectacular trail is a national treasure. You can walk it but to see the full 12km trail, take your bike. Bike rentals are available. Highly recommended for sure!

We had hoped to get here in time to cycle but traffic meant we got there an hour before bike hire closed. Turns out this didnt matter as in around 1.5 hours we managed to walk and see a few tunnels and a good number of tressels. Really stunning. Warning...the 8k of dirt track to get there isnt great quality so allow time to drive it slowly

Must do when in Kelowna ... ride up the mountain and then rent a bike to ride the 12km or so of this wonderful (and flat) trail along the old railway line. Spectacular views of the lake and town are one of the many rewards.

If you want incredible views of Kelowna, trestle bridges and an escape from hustle and bustle, then this activity is for you. The trail can be busy at times, highly recommend a bell on your bike to warn other riders that you are passing. We did not start at the Myra Canyon parking lot, but at the other end. Either direction works just fine. I was stung by a wasp on one section of the trail where there are a lot of rocks, it flew into me, but it was close to my eye. No swarms, but just be mindful.
