A group of friends and myself arrived early for Saturday night Karaoke. The night started off with maybe 5 other people in the whole restaurant. Since we were the only ones singing we took over the stage (didn't mind!) The DJ who we learnt was the restaurant manager also was very cold and clearly had to customer service/people skills.
Restaurant - All in all its not bad on the inside. Yes the carpets gross.. but it was lit well enough it didn't feel like a dive bar and lots of wooden furniture.. which is expected. The washrooms and bar were clean.
Food - We ordered the munchy platter and everything just tasted off... we ended up sending it back and still paying with no replacement.
Drinks - The wait staff was great. How could they not be... it was empty inside!
at 1am the place started filling up to our surprise I think I did a rough count to 40 people including staff,.... and people were commenting how it turned out to be a great show for customers... REALLY??!?
The Karaoke.. the whole reason we were there was Okay... He needs to find touch his skills and not have the music over power each singer. The selection of songs was good. One thing bad to say was EVERY book was categorized by Son name not by Artist! Very frustrating when it comes to picking out songs.
All in all it wasn't great and we will stick to our local neighborhood pub.
