Our first visit to a wonderful restaurant. The food was reasonably priced, and the portions were massive. We had the cordon blue sub, torpedo sub, beef lentil soup & cream of tomato soup. AMAZING! The tomato soup was beyond words.... So, soooo GOOD!

We stopped in here for a beautifully made bowl of soup each and shared a cordon bleu sub. It was amazing. The soup was so hearty and flavourful. The staff were friendly and quick and the atmosphere was busy yet nice. Friendly patrons. All in all a very nice experience. We would definitely go back.

We went for a quick lunch in between shopping at the nearby thrift shops and book stores. Had the smoked beef on a kaiser and the chicken cordon bleu. The food portions were so hearty we took some home for a midnight snack. I dripped the juicy smoked beef down my shirt on the first bite (saucy and delicious), and the chicken cordon bleu was so delicious I am still thinking about it a week later. With homemade fresh bread, delicious and hearty ingredients, and unique sauces, you can't beat this spot for lunch. Quick, friendly, help-yourself, deli style. Was under renovations when we were there, but was still warm and cozy. Mmmmmmm that chicken cordon bleu.

I had a yummy ham and cheese torpedo. Excellent. I think there may be other tasty items. But I was turned off by the obvious layers of dust everywhere and lack of cleaning. The decorative cedar shingles covered in dust and there just seemed like an old build up of grease and dust on everything. Would like to go back for the food but it's hard to forget that they are making your sandwich in that environment. Considering the uncleanliness, my average rating is generous. Won't be back 'til they clean it up.

Great spot for lunch. When we went it was lined up out the door but the line moved fast. Huge portion sizes had a hard time finishing our meals.
