Cher immediately made us feel at home. She is a wonderful cook and breakfast was a feast. The location is superb and after a long journey it was wonderful to relax and take in the view. The house is so comfortable and in a perfect location as it is in easy reach of the ferry or highway. I would highly recommend a stay here and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. We stayed for 4 nights in Cher Thompson's Stephenson Point Seaside B&B while attending our niece's wedding.
The view over Nanaimo harbour was spectacular. We had an extremely large room and even a balcony overlooking the water and surrounding mountains. The view was matched by Cher's attention to detail and service, and our room and the public rooms were immaculately kept.
The breakfast was varied and more than generous.

My Husband & I stayed with Cher at Stephens Seaside point, for a few days this July. Our beautully room on the top floor exposed us to the most breath-taking view. We watched the ferries arrive and depart and saw eagles and hawks soaring above us. At night we were treated to the twinkling lights of Nanaimo. We loved the secret gazebo at the bottom of the garden fitted out with comfy chairs etc. You felt like you wre in a world of your own.
Cher's welcoming us with a glass of Orange juice and her kindness in telling us where to go and what to see, made our short stay with her most memorable.
The breakfast's she serves are scrumptious and you really feel lilke you are at a home away from home.
We'll be back Cer to saty with you and hope that you'll have room for us.

Dan & I had a sad occasion to visit Nanaimo in April 2009 - when we were introduced to Cher and her Stephenson Point Seaside B&B it was such a treat.
Cher is the most kind, generous, gracious host! We had such a fun time wth her.
There was another couple staying over-night and we all enjoyed the outdoor hottub!
...and the food! OMGosh - it was absoulutely delish!
Go back and stay? Without question - it was 'fantabulous'!

This was my first experience staying at a B&B and I am sold! Beginning with a warm welcome as I approached the front door, Cher did everything throughout the week to ensure my comfort.

This home is beautiful and extremely comfortable - right down to the wonderful bed. The view from the home is spectacular and the neighbourhood lends itself well to long runs or walks.

Cher makes the best coffee and has a varied breakfast menu to satisfy mutliple day stays. She goes out of her way to ensure the comfort of her guests - the ultimate hostess.

If you have to be away from home, it just doesn't get any better than this!!
