Let's start off with the bad - the parking lot is very tight with no easy access or egress, but prevail.
Now the good - Once past the parking problem you have some steep steps to navigate, but there is a ramp off to one side for those that are stair challenged. Once inside the setup is a semi-circle with huge windows and views to Departure Bay and the islands. It is two tier so everybody gets a view of some kind - up top are tables, down below there are booths and right next to the windows there are tables. There is not a bad booth/table in the house.
Staff are attentive but not intrusive. Bus staff walking by fill your water as a matter of course and the assigned waiter is always available and friendly. It is not often I drop a 20% tip - but here it was deserved! Excellent service. And this is in spite of a wedding reception on the upper tier that evening.
Now the best part - the food - a real treat. I had the Portobello Steak and my lady had the Neptune Chicken, and both were done just right. Cutting into the steak was like cutting into butter with a hot knife - it was that smooth. The chicken breast was perfect with my lady raving as to the huge scallops that came with it. My Pinot Noir was dead on as was her Chardonnay, at reasonable prices for ½ L servings. Dessert was pretty standard fare for Greek restaurant so in my opinion, could use a bit a rework on that part of the menu. However, conversely, we were so full with our large portioned main meal that maybe it was a good thing that dessert was a little short.
All in all, a good place to have a special evening, but take the small car.
