Had dinner with friends on an outdoor patio. Had the burger and it was deliscous and super tasty. All my friends also loved their meals. The staff was friendly and the location was good.

“Great place for a party!”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Held a surprise party here on the patio and everything from start to finish was perfect. From planning by email with Chaya, from setting up the party, to the serving of food and drinks, everything was wonderful. The food was appy platters and were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The servers were amazing with the drink orders for almost 40 guests. I had many compliments from the guests about what a great patio and the great view. I cannot recommend Dublin Castle enough for the total package of great food, drinks, service and view.

“Wouldn't go back.”
Reviewed 2 June 2013 via mobile

Stopped at this place for dinner. Unimpressive overall. Greasy food, even for a pub, pretty limited beer selection. Our waitress was more interested in talking with her co-workers than serving us. On top of which, she wasn't wearing anything that showed she worked there.

I won't be returning, and I'll bet this place will start struggling now that Brown's social house is open.

“surprsingly good dinner”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

passed by this place in New West and expected the usual pub food with mostly deep-fried options. The menu options where not big but the food was very tasty with a good potion side, The roast beef filled yorkshire puddings where very tasty and worth a trip by itself, the guiness and steak pie was very tasty with good flaky pastry on the top and very nice fries. Same for the burgers, very good and tasty, the only let down would had been the veggie soup which tasted from a can with some extra seasoning added to it - nothig wrong with that as I wouldn't expect a pub kitchen to cook everything from scratch and at least they made an effort to season it a bit. Overall I would recommend the dublin castle grill and will return for sure. Add some local craft beer to the menu and this place is sure a winner.
