I made I mistake in not commenting on how great our stay was. So I am going to remedy that now.
My husband and I stayed 3 days during the fall wine festival in Oct. of 2010. The suite was absolutly PERFECT. Some of the highlights for us were:
-private entrance, quiet room with a great view of the valley just outside our patio doors.
-modern decor, very spacious suite.
-nice little kitchenette area that was well appointed with more than we'd expect, and we had access to the bbq just outside our door.
-great hot breakfasts served on our private patio table, or in our suite whatever we preferred.
-warm hosts that were friendly, but still respected our privacy.
-great location.

My husband and I have wine-toured in the Okanagan Valley on several occasions and always spend time on the Naramata Bench. This time we were traveling with my husband's sister and wanted to make sure the trip had a special feature -- a night's stay at the Brin de Soleil.

The suite is decorated in what I think of as "hotel chic"style without clutter and in sophisticated earth tones. I appreciated the attention to detail -- pima cotton sheets, Deserving thyme amenities, Perrier in the fridge. Pat and Janine are congenial and available as needed but respectful of their guests' space.

The view, even on a misty morning, is breathtaking and we sat out on the patio for much of the evening as the sun set over the vineyards and Okanagan Lake and the lights of Penticton started to twinkle. Even though I should not have been checking email and working on vacation, it was easy to connect to the wireless network and it was acceptably fast.

Breakfast, which consisted of an piping-hot omelette, sausages, toast and fresh fruit was lovely - served at the agreed upon time in our suite. My sister-in-law had a special experience and we will definitely return with our friends in the future. Many thanks to Pat, Janine and Diesel.

This place really is a "ray of sunshine"! Hosts Janine and Pat and their friendly dog, Deisel were consummate hosts. They greeted us as we arrived and made us feel immediately at home in their very modern, comfortable B&B. My partner and I were vacationing with my mom from Ontario so we booked the larger, SAGE suite that had two separate and spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and a small kitchen/living room and bathroom. The suite was modern, tastefully decorated and spotless. It would work really well for two couples or a family with kids too!

The B&B is located on the hillside above the Naramata Bench, just minutes away from Penticton and Naramata Bench wineries. The view from this place is incredible! It faces west overlooking spectacular vistas of Penticton Lake, Munsen Mountain and the Naramata Bench. You can sit outside on your own private patio, sipping wine and soaking up the late afternoon Okanagan sunshine after a tough day of wine tasting or biking/hiking the nearby KVR...heaven on earth!

The only thing better than the view is the breakfast that Janine so beautifully prepares each morning for you. It is to die for! It has to be the best breakfast you'll find anywhere. Together, Pat and Janine are a great team and they made every effort to provide us with a memorable getaway on every level!!

What a glorious B &B. We were so happy to have found Brin De Soleil. The suite was wonderful, beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything we needed. The view from the patio over the lake was spectacular and enjoying the delightful breakfast on the patio was so relaxing. Jannine and Pat are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. Diesel, their dog also welcomed us warmly.

My friend first found out about Brin de Soleil on TripAdvisor.com and we booked our three-night stay as soon as we knew the dates we could go. Four of us travelled there (it was the first time in Penticton for three of us) and we were very pleased with the location and convenience of the B&B; it was just enough out of the city centre (a quick 5-minute drive) and en route to the wineries.

We were very pleased with the amount of space and privacy. We booked the Sage Suite which had two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and kitchen (all amenities except a stove), along with an outdoor patio where we enjoyed our delicious homemade breakfasts courtesy of Janine, our host. We loved taking our time in the morning to soak up the view of Penticton and Okanagan Lake below, along with the sun (weather permitting!).

The owners Janine and Pat were very friendly and helpful, greeting us each morning with a smile and a tray full of the aforementioned yummy breakfast. We were given something different each day.

The free wireless internet made it easy for us to stay connected to our non-vacationing lives. We could also keep entertained with a DVD collection next to the TV and DVD player. Falling asleep, however, was never a problem since the beds were so comfortable!

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Penticton, particularly people looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway near wine country. Thanks, Janine and Pat!

Our stay at Brin de Soleil B & B was better than we could have imagined. The other reviews are accurate and can be trusted. The location is second to none, with beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding landscape. The point is a beautiful place to enjoy the evening over a bottle of local wine. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and their attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome and very special. Opt for the breakfast....you would not get a better breakfast in a 5 star resort. There is no doubt that we will be back for another stay in the near future. Excellent!

Usually there is a pros and cons section with these ratings but with Pat and Janine's B&B, there were no cons. They were so professional and kind, just really down to earth and was perfect for our relaxing getaway. You know it's a good place when Pat said, "I have one chance to build this thing, so if I'm going to do anything, I do it right..."

The view was remarkable, you wouldn't be able to get that sort of view anywhere else even if you had the money to pay for it. B&B is directly above Naramata Bench, as in 5 mins away from all the wineries. I am a huge germophobe, everything was clean and seemed brand new. When telling others what the interior was like (we stayed at the Sage Suite), I tell them it was somewhat like a beach house theme, khaki and white tones, very clean nautical lines.

Fantastic, and this was my first ever B&B experience, Pat and Janine have certainly set the bar very high!

Distance from everything, perfect. Breakfast food, unbelievable. You would've thought you were getting brunch at a 4 or 5 star hotel - and we are frequent brunchers so know a good meal when we have one. Cutlery was new, no scratches, dents, we're coming back again in the future.

Something this good doesn't stay a secret for very long! Need to book again soon and can't wait to go back next year. Loved every bit of it, thanks guys!
